Visa She's Next Grant Program for Canadian Entrepreneurs

 

Visa is back with more funding opportunities for women-owned businesses in Canada, in partnership with IFundWomen.  As part of Visa’s continued commitment to support small businesses, 10 exceptional women entrepreneurs were selected to receive a 10,000 CAD grant plus a one-year annual IFundWomen Coaching Membership. Meet the recipients and fund their campaigns below!

Meet the recipients

In September 2021, Visa Canada in partnership with IFundWomen teamed up to provide 10 qualified women entrepreneurs with the resources needed to support their growth after being hit hard by the pandemic. Get to know the recipients of our first program who each demonstrated meaningful impact and potential for growth through their product/service, and won a $10K grant plus IFundWomen Coaching membership to drive their businesses forward.

Founder of Our Ancestories

Our Ancestories is a publishing company that creates children’s books that share positive stories based on African History providing an opportunity for kids to explore African culture in a way that has never been done before.

Founder of Nuba

Nuba is a BIPOC women owned company, making certified organic, freshly brewed, all natural, ready to drink hibiscus tea. Nuba is a mother daughter team, passionate about supporting small scale farmers in Southern Egypt.

Founder of Braves Soles

Brave Soles is focused on crafting classically styled footwear and accessories with upcycled materials and ethical, small scale production chains. Their handcrafted shoes have up-cycled tire soles, inspired by the founder’s work with vulnerable landfill workers in the Dominican Republic.
