Head of Product

IFundWomen seeks a Head of Product, with deep domain expertise in FinTech/FinServ, who will propel the next phase of rapid customer and revenue growth for IFundWomen. We are looking for a product visionary who is dedicated to and deeply passionate about closing the funding gap for women entrepreneurs.

IFundWomen is the go-to funding marketplace for women entrepreneurs and the people who want to support them, providing access to capital, coaching, mentoring, and connections to a network of women business owners that sparks confidence, accelerates knowledge, and ignites action. 

As Head of Product, you will be building the product culture at IFW from the ground up leading the way in developing a world-class product experience. You will be responsible for the ideation, research, testing, and implementation of new products, strategies, processes, and systems as well as overseeing the active management of our current core products.

Our Head of Product will need to balance flexibility with decisiveness as we dig deeper into our product-market fit. You should demonstrate strong leadership & communication skills and feel comfortable working cross-functionally across several teams including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, & Partnerships. You should feel as comfortable taking a birds-eye view setting a broad strategic vision for the organization as you do being a hands-on efficient builder.

The role will report to our CEO, who does not like “yes people” and wants to be challenged on the product vision. This is your time to come into a fast-growing, early-stage startup and make history.  This role, for now, will be located wherever your home office is - and eventually, hopefully, our beautiful NYC Office in Chelsea.

Responsibilities
  • Lead overall strategy for new product & feature development to hit IFundWomen’s core KPIs, drive growth, customer engagement, and new user acquisition
  • Increase profit margins & user experience of each core product
  • Increase market opportunity through driving the roadmap, develop viral products and continuously improve product and data quality
  • Collaborate closely with our users and customer success to deeply understand and address user needs & strengthen the IFW relationship to customer data in order to lead data-driven decisions
  • Inspire and build out the product team over time
  • Establish a regular cadence of user testing and product feedback
  • Accelerate the customer acquisition funnel to drive new customers to IFundWomen
  • Enable the company to scale in terms of delivering products to market & improving internal processes. Work well with engineering teams based remotely in the Ukraine to maximize efficiency and speed to market
  • Utilize data science to provide advanced predictive and prescriptive capabilities and make the data come alive
  • Bring execution discipline and process improvement to the product organization, shifting where needed, but delivering the roadmap on time
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in a formal product role at an agile development environment
  • 3+ years of experience as a Head of Product or Lead Product Manager responsible for managing a team of other product managers & engineers 
  • Deep domain expertise in Product Management at a FinTech, FinServ, or a big consumer bank
  • Experience and confidence in scaling products that have found product-market fit 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across several teams including Engineering, Sales, Marketing & Partnerships, as we are a B2B2C platform. 
  • Experience with Venture Capitalists and pitching for fundraising.
  • Demonstrated technical understanding and knowledge of the definition and function of APIs, data architecture, services-at-scale, technical risk, etc.
  • Strong data background & familiarity with data and testing tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Mixpanel, Segment, Optimizely, Hotjar, etc. to drive data-informed product decisions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters in Business Administration, Strategic Design Thinking & Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
  • Technical experience in Python, R, SQL, Java to aid in data analysis and automating scripts for quick-build MVPs or internal admin projects
  • Certificates, Coursework or demonstrated experience in Human Computer Interaction, UI/UX, Data Science, Strategic Design

Full Stack Software Engineer

IFundWomen seeks a Software Engineer who wants to use their powers for good. You will be responsible for the implementation, design, development, of the various IFundWomen products and features. We love rapid-prototyping and working across multiple platforms, infrastructures, and disciplines to find the right mix for us. You will be working closely with the Product, Sales, Marketing or Partnerships teams depending on the project. 

The role will report to our Head of Engineering.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with the Product team to deliver quality features in high-quality code and best practices

  • Instrument strong coding best practices, guidelines, and standards throughout the team

  • Ensure that all code is clearly tested from end-to-end

  • Flexibility and comfort across stacks should allow you to help solve issues at all levels, including code modularity and reuse.

  • Work comfortably across multiple levels of the Development stack

  • Ability to ship high quality, well-tested code

Senior Drupal Engineer 

This platform is currently hosted on a customized Drupal platform, where it currently acts as the beating heart of our business. We are looking for a senior Drupal Engineer to take ownership of this platform. You’ll be responsible for improving, enhancing & maintaining this platform in a scalable and sustainable way. You will be rolling up your sleeves and building new features and enhancements while providing thought leadership on the future of this platform.

The role will report to our Head of Engineering, while working remotely.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Product Management team to Implement new features and capabilities for our primary Drupal based infrastructure for Online Fundraising and Professional Coaching.
  • Implement enhancements and bug fixes along with regular updates to make sure our Drupal platform is up to date with highest industry standards to serve our customers and requirements of modern web standards.
  • Enhance our integrations with external ecosystems vital for our business. This includes popular payment systems like PayPal & Stripe and mobile payment systems like Apple Pay and Google Pay. This would also include integrations with various analytics, data pipeline and business intelligence tools.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with other engineering, product management, sales, marketing and customer success teams to maintain an optimal experience for our customer’s success.
  • Provide thought leadership and help formulate a future vision for our Drupal infrastructure and help mentor junior engineers.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer
  • 3+ years, full stack experience building sites based on the Drupal 8 (at least) platform using the ecommerce platform with checkout.
  • 3+ years experience working with the PHP/Drupal tool chain including drush & docksal.
  • Experience working with databases, relational databases with SQL and NoSQL.
  • Experience hosting Drupal sites on various cloud platforms, especially Pantheon. Experience with hosting Drupal on other cloud platforms e.g. Google Cloud & AWS would be a huge advantage.
  • Experience working with and customizing ReactJS based themes for Drupal, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.

Startup Coach

IFundWomen seeks a person passionate about entrepreneurship to become an IFundWomen Startup Coach. As a Startup Coach, you are responsible for recruiting and launching startups on IFundWomen. This role requires inherent sales and marketing skills, a positive attitude and a love for helping people get their businesses and passions off the ground. This person will have a deep understanding of the product value and will help customers experience impactful moments as quickly as possible. The role will report to our Head of Business Development and will work remotely.

Reponsibilities
  • Help the team achieve the company’s KPI targets: 1) funding volume 2) revenue 3) happy customers. 
  • Find and recruit entrepreneurs to the IFundWomen platform.
  • Close sales for the coaching program through phone consultations by encouraging, supporting, and guiding entrepreneurs through IFundWomen’s offerings to best meet their startup and funding goals.
  • Host workshops, webinars, and educational sessions to educate entrepreneurs on the basics of startup funding and growing your business.
  • Represent IFundWomen at industry conferences, on panels, leading workshops, running pitch competitions, and generally encouraging the use of IFundWomen’s products and services. 
  • Exchange ideas/data/feedback with other departments (product, marketing, top management) in order to present results and make our products best in class.
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be super-connected in the entrepreneurship space.
  • Must be a passionate supporter of all things entrepreneurship and women-led startups. 
  • Must have worked in a sales organization, be comfortable with a revenue goal, and have experience with inbound and outbound sales & marketing. 
  • Must love public speaking, teaching workshops, meeting new people, empowering entrepreneurs. 
  • Must have a good understanding of the venture funding ecosystem, and have experience with crowdfunding, as a user and as a backer. 
  • Must be a digital native, and very comfortable using the following: Google Apps, Slack, Facebook, Instagram, MailChimp, and other web apps. 
  • A team-player attitude, and excitement about working at a startup.

Enterprise Partnerships Manager

IFundWomen seeks an Enterprise Partnerships Manager who will propel the next phase of rapid revenue growth for IFundWomen. We are looking for a visionary and a closer who is dedicated to and deeply passionate about closing the funding gap for women entrepreneurs. 

As Enterprise Partnerships Manager you will be building and executing the go-to-market strategy for our Enterprise customers at IFW from the ground up leading the way in developing a world-class branded experience. You will be responsible for the ideation, research, outreach, nurturing relationships, and closing deals of new enterprise products and services. You will also help, where needed, on the execution of these branded programs, ensuring a premium customer experience.

Our Enterprise Partnerships Manager will need to balance flexibility with decisiveness as we dig deeper into our enterprise product-market fit. You should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills and feel comfortable working cross-functionally across several teams including Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Creative. You should feel as comfortable taking a birds-eye view setting a broad strategic vision for the organization as you do being a hands-on efficient closer. 

The role will report to Sarah Sommers, Co-Founder and Brand Director of IFundWomen. This is your time to come into a fast-growing, early-stage startup and make history. This role, for now, will be located wherever your home office is and must be in the markets specifically listed above.

Responsibilities
  • Identify best-in-class enterprise partnerships and business opportunities that drive the brand and deliver ROI through new revenue streams, business development and impactful press
  • Establish and manage client relationships with brands and agencies and manage an increasing portfolio of enterprise prospects. 
  • Must have worked in a sales organization, be comfortable with a revenue goal, and have experience with inbound and outbound sales & marketing. 
  • Work closely with brands to develop an understanding of their business needs and provide consultative solutions to build strong relationships. 
  • Map out sponsorship + partnership pipeline and set revenue and sales targets
  • Spearhead sponsor and integrated marketing plans from initial concept to strategy, pitch, and close. 
  • Work hand-in-hand with partnership, product, marketing and data teams to dream up big ideas for paid partners Identify the range of marketing and branding benefits across IFW's channels and products that are available to paid partners 
  • Work closely with the creative team to ensure that pitch decks are on brand and of the highest calibre.
  • Develop a plan for execution, ensuring sponsorship opportunities are on brand, feasible and within budget.
  • Bring to life brand partnerships through high impact sponsored programs such as experiential activations, integrated marketing campaigns, contests, new products and more. 
  • Position IFW to partners as a one-of-a-kind platform, community and vital marketing arm that can drive affinity for their brand, drive their business and deliver meaningful consumer data.
  • Maintain high levels of communication and transparency with management, cross-functional teams, and business partners.
  • Deliver measurable results for clients by providing post-campaign results, reporting and impact on business.
  • Build strong case studies and testimonials Ensure that a plan for continued client management and follow-up is in place to increase renewals and new business opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
  • 5 years of experience on the sales or sales marketing side of a media company
  • Must have worked in a media sales organization, be comfortable with a revenue goal, and have experience with inbound and outbound sales & marketing.
  • Must be super-connected in the brand marketing & PR space. 
  • Must have worked extensively with brands and agencies to develop an understanding of their business needs and provide consultative solutions to build strong relationships. 
  • Deep experience creating sponsorship + partnership pipeline and set revenue and sales target are a must.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or experience as a Brand Manager
  • Has experience starting up a business or side project.
  • Experience in the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
  • Experience creating social content is a "nice to have".
