IFundWomen of Color Community Coordinator

IFundWomen seeks a person passionate about entrepreneurship to become a Community Coordinator for the IFundWomen of Color community. Launched in January 2020, IFundWomen of Color is a platform dedicated to addressing the unique obstacles and challenges women of color face in launching and growing their businesses. 

As a Community Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting all member programming including coordinating and booking events, overseeing the onboarding of new members, and providing support with community communications and customer service. You will be the right-hand person of Olivia Owens, GM, and Creator of IFundWomen of Color.

This is an amazing opportunity for you to get in on the ground floor of a fast-growing, super-impactful startup that is changing the way women raise capital and grow their businesses. 

This role is part-time, 20-hours/week, with the expressed intention of making this role full-time after 3-months of working with IFundWomen of Color.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager of IFundWomen of Color with community engagement and administration, such as reviewing applications, co-hosting weekly programming, and engaging within our private Slack community
  • Manage internal IFundWomen of Color directory
  • Represent IFundWomen of Color at industry conferences, on panels, leading workshops, running pitch competitions, and generally encouraging the use of IFundWomen’s products and services. 
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must have experience starting up a business or side hustle.
  • Must be connected in the entrepreneurship space.
  • Must have a track record of community building whether personal or professional.
  • Must be able to identify, track and interpret relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events) 
  • Must be comfortable talking on the phone with new people and helping them with their challenges.
  • Must love public speaking, teaching workshops, meeting new people, empowering entrepreneurs. 
  • Must have a good understanding of the venture funding ecosystem, and have experience with crowdfunding, as a user and as a funder. 
  • Must be a digital native, and very comfortable using the following: Google Apps, Slack, Facebook, Instagram, MailChimp, and other web apps. 
  • A team-player attitude, and excitement about working at a startup. 
  • Outstanding cross-group collaboration, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills are required. 
  • Be able to work independently and remotely.  
  • Experience working in account management or servicing customers
  • Experience with CRM is a plus
  • A love of creating social content is also a plus.

Brand Partnerships Account Executive

IFundWomen seeks a Brand Partnerships Sales Executive who will propel the next phase of rapid revenue growth for the company. The Brand Partnerships Sales Executive will create and sell meaningful partnerships with big brands that want to support women-owned SMBs. We are looking for a seasoned media or brand seller who is a team player with a customer-first mindset to help us go above and beyond in delivering for our partners and our entrepreneurs. 

As Brand Partnerships Sales Executive you will be selling already-successful, world-class branded experiences. Over the past few years, we have partnered with values-aligned brands to drive capital, coaching, and connections to women-owned SMBs like Visa, American Express, adidas, Novartis, Unilever, P&G, Diageo, and more. You will be responsible for outreach, nurturing relationships, and closing deals with new enterprises and brands who want to support women entrepreneurs. 

You should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills and feel comfortable working cross-functionally across several teams including Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Creative. You should feel as comfortable talking up the broader, strategic mission and vision for the organization as you do being a hands-on efficient closer. ABC.

The role will report to IFundWomen Co-Founder and VP of Brand Partnerships, Sarah Sommers. This is your time to come into a fast-growing, early-stage startup and make history.  This role will be located wherever your home office is.

Responsibilities
  •   Identify best-in-class brand partners who are actively interested in supporting women-owned SMBs.
  •   Establish and manage client relationships with brands and agencies and manage an increasing portfolio of enterprise prospects 
  •   Work closely with brands to develop an understanding of their business needs and provide consultative solutions to build strong relationships
  •   Manage a detailed sales pipeline and drive to close deals.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand and media sales
  • Must be super-connected with brand marketers, agencies, and CMOs who make decisions about where marketing dollars are spent. 
  • Must have worked in a media sales organization, be comfortable with a revenue goal, and have experience with inbound and outbound sales & marketing. 
  • Must be a passionate supporter of all things entrepreneurship and women-led startups. 
  • Must love sales and be laser-focused on selling in the "right brands", i.e. brands that are mission-aligned
  • A team-player attitude, and excitement about working at a startup.

Enterprise Partnerships Account Manager 

IFundWomen seeks an Enterprise Partnerships Account Manager to manage and execute key partnerships, relationships and branded experiences. Over the past 2 years, IFundWomen has had the pleasure of working with brands like Visa, American Express, Gusto, Alcon Systane, Unilever, P&G and more. We are looking for a team player with a customer-first mindset to help us go above and beyond in delivering for our partners. 

The role will report to IFundWomen Co-Founder and Brand Director, Sarah Sommers, while working remotely.

Reponsibilities
  • Run day-to-day operations with enterprise partners to execute on branded experiences: email communication w/ clients; task management for collateral; production of program briefs; communication with internal stakeholders; management of program timelines
  • Manage & execute on deliverables across multiple enterprise partners who are giving grants to our entrepreneurs. 
  • Draft proposals, sell sheets, one-pagers to brief leads on partnership opportunities & Work closely with the creative team to ensure that pitch decks are on brand and of the highest calibre.
  • Evaluate inbound partnership opportunities and funnel leads to the correct internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the IFW enterprise partnership strategy with innovative ideas that leverage & elevate IFW capabilities & services 
  • Assist the partnerships team as they bring to life high-impact branded experiences
  • Maintain high levels of communication and transparency with management, cross-functional teams, and business partners.
  • Deliver post-campaign results, reporting on data and the impact on the client’s goals.
  • Ensure that a plan for continued client management and follow-up is in place to increase renewals and new business opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

Full Stack Software Engineer

IFundWomen seeks a Software Engineer who wants to use their powers for good. You will be responsible for the implementation, design, development, of the various IFundWomen products and features. We love rapid-prototyping and working across multiple platforms, infrastructures, and disciplines to find the right mix for us. You will be working closely with the Product, Sales, Marketing or Partnerships teams depending on the project. 

The role will report to our Head of Engineering.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with the Product team to deliver quality features in high-quality code and best practices

  • Instrument strong coding best practices, guidelines, and standards throughout the team

  • Ensure that all code is clearly tested from end-to-end

  • Flexibility and comfort across stacks should allow you to help solve issues at all levels, including code modularity and reuse.

  • Work comfortably across multiple levels of the Development stack

  • Ability to ship high quality, well-tested code

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+Years of developing Web Products, SaaS, or equivalent

  • Knowledge in JavaScript & PHP

  • Database knowledge: MySQL, PostGREs, BigTable, etc

  • Can work in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Understanding of SOA, RESTful APIs, and micro-services

  • Understanding of Cloud Computing, Containers, CI/CD, Deployments, preferably on Google Cloud Platform

  • Understanding of the Drupal CMS system including custom module and theme development

  • Has a good understanding of operational issues, load balancing, cost, performance, etc. 

  • Has worked in the Agile Framework (Scrum, Kanban, etc)
