Officially incorporated in early 2017, our then-five-person team built an MVP called IFundWomen for ~$20K, and since then, we've grown to where we have 4 distinct products within the funding marketplace which have empowered tens of thousands of women-owned businesses to raise over $80M in capital for their startups and learn how to start and grow profitable, sustainable businesses that are the driving force of our economy.

Strategic Partnerships Manager

IFundWomen seeks a Strategic Partnerships Manager who will propel the next phase of rapid revenue growth for the company. The Strategic Partnerships Manager will create and sell meaningful partnerships with big brands that want to support women-owned eSMBs. We are looking for a seasoned partnerships manager with brand marketing experience who is a team player with a customer-first mindset to help us go above and beyond in delivering for our partners, and supercharging the funding opportunities for women entrepreneurs.Ā 

As a Strategic Partnerships Manager you will be selling already-successful, world-class branded experiences. Over the past few years, we have partnered with value-aligned brands to drive capital, coaching, and connections to women-owned SMBs like Visa, American Express, adidas, Novartis, Unilever, P&G, Diageo, and more. You will be responsible for outreach, nurturing relationships, and closing deals with new enterprises and brands who want to collaborate with IFundWomen to drive access to capital, coaching and connections to women entrepreneurs.

You should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills and feel comfortable working cross-functionally across several teams. You should feel as comfortable talking up the broader, strategic mission and vision for the organization as you do being a hands-on efficient closer.Ā 

This role will be located in New York City and will report into Sarah Sommers, Co-founder and VP of Brand Strategy and Enterprise Partnerships.

Responsibilities
  • Identify best-in-class brand partners who are actively interested in supporting women-owned businesses and working with decision makers on partnership programs
  • Work hand-in-hand with partnerships, product, marketing and data teams to dream up big ideas for enterprise partners and programs
  • Develop and pitch bespoke programs that meet the goals ofIFundWomen, our brand partners, and our entrepreneursĀ 
  • Manage a detailed sales pipeline and drive to close deals, in order to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Create strong sales materials and build powerful case studies and testimonials that will support learnings and future opportunitiesĀ 
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that pitch decks and proposals are on brand and of the highest calibre
  • Maintain high levels of communication and transparency with management, cross-functional teams, and business partners

Requirements
  • At least five (5) years of experience working with global brands selling in experiential marketing programs
  • Well connected with decision makers at brands and agencies who are looking to make an impact with their dollars
  • Experience working successfully in strategic partnerships or business development and is comfortable with a revenue goal
  • Passionate supporter of all things entrepreneurship and women-led startups.Ā

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication, problem-solving, and presentation skillsĀ 
  • Ability to work independently and remotely when needed Ā
