Officially incorporated in early 2017, our then-five-person team built an MVP called IFundWomen for ~$20K, and since then, we've grown to where we have 4 distinct products within the funding marketplace which have empowered tens of thousands of women-owned businesses to raise over $80M in capital for their startups and learn how to start and grow profitable, sustainable businesses that are the driving force of our economy.

Senior Drupal Engineer

IFundWomen's crowdfunding platform is currently hosted on a customized Drupal platform, where it currently acts as the beating heart of our business. We are looking for a senior Drupal Engineer to take ownership of this platform. You’ll be responsible for improving, enhancing, and maintaining this platform in a scalable and sustainable way. You will be rolling up your sleeves and building new features and enhancements while providing thought leadership on the future of this platform.

The role will report to our Head of Engineering while working remotely.

Responsibilies
  • Work with the Product Management team to implement new features and capabilities for our primary Drupal-based infrastructure for Online Fundraising and Professional Coaching.
  • Implement enhancements and bug fixes along with regular updates to make sure our Drupal platform is up to date with the highest industry standards to serve our customers and requirements of modern web standards
  • Enhance our integrations with external ecosystems vital for our business. This includes popular payment systems like PayPal & Stripe and mobile payment systems like Apple Pay and Google Pay. This would also include integrations with various analytics, data pipeline, and business intelligence tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to maintain an optimal experience for our customers
  • Provide thought leadership and help formulate a future vision for our Drupal infrastructure and help mentor junior engineers.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer
    3+ years, full-stack experience building sites based on the Drupal 8 (at least) platform using the eCommerce platform with checkout.
    3+ years experience working with the PHP/Drupal toolchain including drush and docksal
  • Experience working with databases, relational databases with SQL and NoSQL.
  • Experience hosting Drupal sites on various cloud platforms, especially Pantheon. Experience with hosting Drupal on other cloud platforms e.g. Google Cloud and AWS would be a huge advantage.
  • Experience working with and customizing ReactJS based themes for Drupal, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.
  • Experience working with integrate payment systems with Drupal e.g. PayPal and Stripe.

Quality Assurance Associate

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Associate to develop and execute a solid testing strategy for ensuring product quality. QA Associate responsibilities include designing and implementing tests & testing suites to test our products across multiple devices and environments. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)

The QA associate role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, that would be a huge plus.

Ultimately, you should monitor software development stages to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

IFundWomen seeks a proactive, creative, and energetic graphic designer to join the IFundWomen team. As a graphic designer, this person will be responsible for creating digital artwork & visual designs aligned with the IFundWomen brand to be utilized throughout all brand activations & marketing activities. This role requires a superior ability to drive design thinking from ideation through concept development, refinement, and execution across all media & digital marketing channels. This person will be an empowered self-starter with excellent time management skills, creating compelling and cohesive assets. This role will work closely with our marketing & enterprise partnerships teams and will report to IFundWomen Co-Founder & VP of Brand Strategy & Enterprise Partnerships, Sarah Sommers.

Senior Startup Coach

IFundWomen seeks a person passionate about entrepreneurship to become an IFundWomen Senior Startup Coach. As Senior Startup Coach, you are responsible for teaching entrepreneurs how to start and run successful businesses through our proprietary coaching program. This role requires inherent teaching skills, a positive attitude, and a love for helping people get their businesses and passions off the ground. This person will have a deep understanding of the product value and will help customers experience impactful moments as quickly as possible. 

The role will report to IFundWomen Co-Founder, Kate Anderson.

Human Resources Manager

IFundWomen is looking for a self-driven, process-oriented person passionate about developing and scaling a fast-growing Tech startup to serve as IFundWomen’s HR Manager. For the first six months, this role will be part-time at 20 hours/week. The goal is to hire the right person for our unique company culture on a full-time basis, after a 6 month trial period.

As a fast-growing startup, with almost 30 employees, we need an actual human resource to support our most precious asset, our employees, as they grow with the company. The IFW HR Manager will be a champion of culture, a mentor and leader, coaching managers in the development of others, challenging the status quo, and offering creative solutions to business issues. You will work hand-in-hand with our Executive Leadership Team and oversee all processes related to employee happiness, retention, performance management, payroll & benefits, team building & development, and employee relations.

Executive Assistant

IFundWomen is searching for an experienced, reliable, and task-oriented Executive Assistant (EA) to support our CEO, Karen Cahn. The EA will work directly with Karen and will be responsible for performing a vast array of exciting administrative duties that will free Karen up to drive as much funding to women entrepreneurs as humanly possible. The ideal candidate is motivated by IFundWomen’s mission, is highly professional, capable of managing their workload, and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, high-growth, startup environment.
