The Mission
The Hair Fuel is an innovative at-home solution featuring a natural hair mask and an entire hair growth kit made of entirely natural ingredients, cruelty-free – which accelerates hair growth, reduces hair loss and strengthens follicles from where the hair grows – its roots.
The Problem
In The Hair Fuel terms, it's suffering from hair loss or wishing it would grow faster after a terrible hair appointment, post pregnancy or peri-menopausal hair growth issues. There are many of us dealing with different hair growth problems. Unreachable Instagram-worthy hair posts are just that – unreachable, making us feel even worse about ourselves.
There are 3 core issues with the products available on the market:
- High cost (extensions, weaves) and in some cases invasiveness (e.g. hair transplants)
- Harsh or obscure chemicals (silicones, sulfates, minoxidil, finasteride)
- Lack of efficacy (no results)

Yes, but does it work?
We conduced a laboratory set of consumer trials with 50 participants, women aged 25-40 years old, based in the United Kingdom of various ethnic origin and background. Participants were given a self-assessment questionnaire at the beginning of the trials and an extensive questionnaire again at the end of the trial. A measuring tape was included in our subscription box, which some participants chose to use and record their results. In addition, a third of participants had explicitly reported hair loss as a problem they are dealing with prior to the trial – this specific cohort confirmed a reduction in hair loss after using The Hair Fuel.
[Setting: Participants were given The Hair Fuel hair growth kit with total of 8 applications and were instructed to apply it twice a week to replicate the result after using The Hair Fuel after 2 months, which should normally be applied weekly.]

3 full hours with our Founder – why is this on this list? Because crowdfunding journey is hard. Because launching company is hard. Because having a business idea and understanding whether it's going to work or not, understand potential market – isn't an easy job. I have had a tech startup before. I have also been a management consultant before. I'm a qualified Chartered Accountant and, I have been a brand strategist and designer before. All these experiences equipped me with the knowledge how to run and launch a business and how NOT to run it too.
As I have been building The Hair Fuel, I have actually shared my journey with it (which can be accessed via Our Story section on the website) and people have become inspired to create a business of their own. For these 3 hours I will sit down with you, we brainstorm together through your passions, your concerns and doubts that you have in launching a business idea. Or if you don't have a business idea but have an itch to build a business anyway – we can strategise and create a path to launch together!
Finally, a self-care package treats you with love, kindness and care you crave and need. We were looking for a location that would encapsulate the rustic luxury which The Hair Fuel represents. As I have been fondly remembering the years I have spent in London, beautiful Cowshed Spa came to mind – an urban oasis of tranquility neatly tucked away off Carnaby St in Central London. How delighted I was to learn that it has multiple locations around the world: London, Amsterdam, New York, Barcelona, Berlin, Chicago, Istanbul and Miami. Other fees
Please note that we give 5% to iFundWomen as part of their crowdfunding platform fee, as well as 3% to PayPal and Stripe to process all transactions. So if you feel extra generous please include extra 8% tip on top of your reward to help us accommodate those fees!

What if I would like multiple rewards?
Oh you wizard you. You can always make a contribution of any amount, so use that feature! With the exception of our LIMITED feature reward of 3 month early ship The Hair Fuel box and Investment Fuel rewards, use the monetary contribution option and put an amount that totals the rewards you'd like to buy. There is a comments section at the checkout, so let us know what you're after. Thanks so much!
How soon will you ship my The Hair Fuel box?
Our lucky backers who managed to snag feature LIMITED early shipping reward – will have their orders shipped within 5-7 working days since we get your address! Which means, if you back it in the first day of our campaign going live, you will get a box of The Hair Fuel before the end of our campaign. As we run out from our LIMITED rewards pool, we will start manufacturing and fulfilling the rest of the orders. We aim for 2-6 weeks from the end of our campaign, but that will depend how fast we hit our funding goals!
How can I send you the photo to make a sketch of me?
Make sure to leave your correct email address and contact details, so we can get in touch with you for you to send us a link to the picture you want the sketch to be made from.
What if I don't live in the geography you ship to?
We are happy to ship the rewards anywhere in the world to you, however for some far our territories it can be a lot more expensive and less guaranteed to ship to.
What if the item gets held at the customs?
All customs and import duties (if any) are to be paid by the customer / backer. However, we have been shipping the product to various geographies around the world and never the item was stuck at the border or had any extra customs duties!
How will you ship it to me?
Please make sure to provide us with correct contact information and your address when you purchase a reward.
I’m a man and I am losing hair. Is it suitable for men?
Yes. Due to higher androgens in males, The Hair Fuel would always work better for females as any other hair growth product, our mask contains caffeine – a known DHT blocker, as well as peppermint oil which is known to help male-pattern baldness. The general rule is that the earlier you start treating your hair loss and thinning – the better results will be!
I don’t know if I need 3-, 6- or 12- month package! Which one should I choose?
Honestly, it is up to you. If, for example you have an event in 8 months you want to grow your hair out for – better make a purchase of 6 month package! If you want to grow your best hair yet and have a year to invest in your hair… then full year package is for you. If you just want to try it out – go with the 3 month package.
How soon will I see the results on my hair?
You will FEEL the mask working on first application. Our consumer study reported visible reduced hair shedding after first two weeks of applications. Accellerated hair growth, as well as new hair – those baby hairs on top of your head! – become visible towards the end of month one and becomes very visible – and also audible - since you’ll be receiving questions like: “I swear your hair was much shorted since I last saw you…” right around then!
What’s in the box?
First month subscription box contains: welcome card, 4 powder sachets, 4 oil sachets, measuring tape, shower cap, mixing bottle, instructions card and science card. Subsequent months boxes contain 4 powder sachets, 4 oil sachets and a welcome card.
Will the subscription boxes be sent all as one big package?
Once the campaign finishes, we will onboard your details on our system and start sending you monthly The Hair Fuel boxes, together with the monthly guidance! So - do make sure you provide us with correct shipping details
I’m a hair salon / stockist / retailer, I’m interested to purchase more 10 sets of The Hair Fuel.
For orders larger than 10 of 3 month boxes and in the event of our feature LIMITED early shipping reward being sold out – please get in touch with us via email. We will ask you to back the campaign via monetary contribution and discuss arrangements, including shipping, directly.
I am moving house / don’t have a permanent address to enable me to receive the subscription boxes. Which address shall I give?
Provide us with the address to which you will have access to throughout your move (e.g. office address) and update us of any changes by emailing us directly as soon as possible. There is also an option to pause the subscription boxes or start later – best thing to do – is to select correct reward and provide this information in the comment box at the checkout!
How have the consumer trials data been compiled?
A laboratory based in Devon, United Kingdom has conducted a set of rigorous consumer trials on our behalf, by sampling 55 participants of 25-40 years old of age. We provided high-level but transparent data with the results and feedback on our campaign page and website!
I have a dry / itchy scalp / dandruff / eczema.
As per our website, we do not recommend usage of The Hair Fuel on damaged scalp.
Is the The Hair Fuel acceptable to use with chemically straightened/dyed hair?
Yes. Especially if you are trying to grow out your hair – you will notice your faster growing roots!
I have a specific hair / health condition and / or sensitive scalp, can I still use The Hair Fuel?
As per our website, bottom line is that we do not recommend usage of The Hair Fuel on damaged scalp. Consult with your physician / GP if you still want to give this a go though!
Is the product safe for breastfeeding / pregnant women?
We had a few young moms in our consumer trials and they have reported outstanding results! You should consult your physician / GP, however the concentration of essential oils have been reported as acceptable by our lab!
Is it tested on animals?
Absolutely not. Never.
Is the formula REALLY vegan?
Yes, the formula vegan and cruelty-free. We worked hard to make sure no animals have been harmed in the process of bringing you beautiful hair!
I am an influencer, I want this product for free, can you send it to me?
We have conducted an extensive research and reach out prior to our campaign, and carefully selected a family of The Hair Fuel Brand Ambassadors. We have closed our current intake for consideration to be one of our Brand Ambassadors, so if you want to get your hands on our product still – it’s better hurry with those early LIMITED rewards. I am interested to be an investor, will I be purchasing equity by making a purchase of “Investment Fuel” reward?
By selecting “Investment Fuel” reward you purchase an invite to be considered to be one of our investors, not the equity itself and not a guarantee that you will be selected to be an investor. Prior to sending you more extensive information about the consumer trials, our sales projections and financials, we will also conduct a check of who you are followed by a more rigorous check should you be offered a seat at the investors table in the orderly way of conducing due diligence.
Why don’t you have PETA or Vegan Society certification?
Simple – in order to acquire PETA or Vegan society official certification – a company needs to pay certification fee. While we are looking to get Vegan Society certification in the nearer future (hopefully using some funds from this campaign to do so!) – we prioritised spending the budget on getting out the product to you first!

Can it be used on children?
