My work is inspired by my late mother, who in the 1970’s found her voice as a multi media artist. Constantly creating beautiful pieces of art, I grew up surrounded by her incredible beauty. I admired her so and am so honored to even come close to continuing her vision.
As I grew into my own, I received my BFA in Fine Art at the University of Wisconsin, Madison (GO BADGERS!) and went on to work in the exciting and ever changing world of women’s fashion in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City. After 12 years in the wholesale sales side of the industry, I wanted to go back to my artistic roots and create something new of my own. That is when Grass & Clovers was born!
I currently live and work in New York. When I’m not busy creating, sewing, drawing and painting, I am hanging with my beautiful little daughters, who are my inspiration every single day.
