Hi, I'm Makeda, and I'm the founder of Makeda Mikael. The inspiration for this product line came from my own personal experience. During my time as a Clinical Dietitian, I was tired of being mistaken for the intern when I showed up for work but I was carrying a backpack, a lunch bag, and a handbag. As a Dietitian starting my own private practice, I lost the trust of my future clients when I arrived at a coffee shop for our one-on-one sessions lugging all my bags with me. Now, as a nutrition professor, my students' first impression of me sets the tone for the rest of our semester. As an entrepreneur, my handbag IS my office, and must fit all my daily work essentials. These products were made for women like me, by me. If it does not work for me, then it's not good enough.
