Workfluence was originally created to help black women break through the concrete ceilings in the workplace. We are aiming toward helping our users make data-driven career decisions through AI-powered career pathing and strategy to help advance diverse, marginalized, high-performing talent in key roles of leadership to end systemic racism through the workplace.

THE SOLUTION

Through the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning, our platform is designed to understand your work history, competencies, professional strengths, and long term career goals to generate an interactive and dynamic career map and strategy. We want to remove the guess work and ambiguity around career advancement so that our users can confidently navigate the workforce. Our uniqueness lies in the system's the ability to have an understanding of a user's specific work industry or market and make strategic recommendations on a long term career path in accordance the long term goals. 


THE MARKET + OPPORTUNITY

People invest billions in professional and career development. In the United States alone, there was $100 billion spend in this industry and is expected to grow an additional 8% over the next 4 years. With an estimated 157 million people in the workforce, of which 78% actively seek out career advancement opportunities, we are well positioned in this growing market. 

 

THE PRODUCT

The product is a SaaS, web application that is powered by deep learning to interactively and dynamically present the user with the best career solution to get them in the senior-level roles they want to acquire. Our product roadmap also will allow the platform to "track" the professional growth of of a user and adapt its long term solution on their current position. We want to also aim have a B2B model where we enable employers to have visibility into their employees personal career strategy and help develop them. 
 

THE BUSINESS MODEL

As a SaaS, web application, our business model is comprised of a monthly reoccurring charge for continued access and use of Workfluence. The user will also have access to brand deals that will help them execute their career goals. Workfluence will also support the facilitation of career growth by connection of other resources to be utilized on the platform at no additional cost.

 

OUR ASK

We have completed the process of formally incorporating and are actively working towards our goal of raising $150,000 which will be allocated towards the following:

  • product development (software development for niche specialities)
  • marketing and customer acquisition efforts
  • hiring in-house software engineers

Yep, sure is! We've spoken to numerous software engineers who specialize in artificial intelligence, data science, and machine learning who all agree this is possible. The goal is to crawl the web and display the best option for the user. While it's lofty, we are very confident we can execute, with your help. 
 

If I help fund, can I use the platform for free?

Absolutely! We will allow completely free use for 3 months. We would be honored to not only have you as a 'user of honor,' we would also love to invite you to test the beta once it's launched. Who is running the joint?!

That would be our founder and CEO, Adrienne Berry. She is a credentialed HR executive whose worked in the Silicon Valley's tech scene for several years. She is seasoned as a human resources professional who has supported senior leaders (CXO) in their most difficult organizational challenges and worked to make teams and employees stronger and more efficient. She is also a black woman who set out to level the playing field for her community in the workplace. 

 

What makes your solution better or different?

Great question! We are entirely different because we are predictive and we give customized career paths for individuals. Normally what you'll find are solutions similar to Workfluence, but they are for businesses supporting their internal employees. We also have a super special function that supports continuity of growth for as an individual AND employee because we know your best experience happens in life and on the job, and we want to make sure that never gets lost. We also plan on having brand partnerships so you aren't just given a path and strategy with little help on execution, we want to account for the full experience.
 

I took a look at the website and I wasn't impressed, what's going on?

We know...

That's our first area we plan to tackle once we've fundraised enough. We have our MVP actively being developed with a go-live date of January 28, 2021. Even then we know we will constantly have product updates and upgrades for years to come. You are funding the future work of the Workfluence as we grow into an incredible platform.
