Project Description
The Wig Dr. Wig boutique and hair loss center in Metro Atlanta Georgia. We provide non-permanent, non-surgical hair loss solutions for men, women, and children. We are not only a wig shop, we offer mastectomy bras, breast forms, custom prosthetics, post-surgery products & and compression garments. Our Certified Mastectomy fitters fulfill the clients by making them feel comfortable and whole again. Our expert staff respects you appreciates your individual needs and will assist you in choosing appropriate products to maximize comfort and convenience as you return to your active lifestyle.
We are solving the problem of there being a lack of quality wigs and hairpieces for those experiencing hair loss due to being diagnosed with alopecia, chemotherapy, or other autoimmune diseases, aging, or genetics. We are also solving the problem of the lack of mastectomy boutiques that are available in the community for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, will lose one or two breasts, and need prosthetics, bras, compression, or lymphedema care.
Our solution is offering non-permanent and nonsurgical hair loss solutions as well as properly fitted pre and post-mastectomy garments for those women who want symmetry and to feel whole again after breast surgery or receiving a breast cancer diagnosis. Our team is comprised of certified fitters who provide education, resources, and excellent client services for those who are in the hair loss of breast cancer communities. We are also a diverse group that can meet the needs of all of the people we serve.
We are seeking funding to be able to become fully accredited and to have the necessary resources like a billing dept, inventory, and accessories to support our current, new, and future clients who want to use their insurance benefits to support their needs.

The doctor will physically examine your hair, check the general density, and thickness, identify areas that may be balding or thinning, or notice how much your hairline is receding. He will also perform a simple “Pull Test”. In a Pull Test, the doctor will gently pull a few strands of your hair to check how many strands fall off and how easily they fall off. This aids in understanding the rate of hair loss and its intensity.
