"Waiting" Fund the next AmsJscript Production

WAITING is a thirty-minute short about a young film producer who must make some hard decisions about her current questionable relationship.  She uses honest conversations with her best friend Danni as well as childhood memories about her relationship dynamic with her parents to look deeply at herself and the recurring decisions she makes to find love. Lelah’s perception of love and attraction are tainted and keep her from noticing the good energy around her. A final act of disregard and confusion within her relationship opens her eyes, heart and sprit to a new way of seeing the world around her.

WAITING film short is a project that will make people think about their personal history. It will make you think about the importance of how you love and interact as a child, a teen and ultimately a young adult. This film speaks to love and the perception of love. I feel a connection like no other to this project because almost every young adult involved has been a part of my life for so many years. The young adults that are a part of this project, this creative movement to tell a loving story were teenagers when we were first connected. Now they are adults who are still connected to me. I feel honored, humbled and blessed that we are all coming out of the hold of the unforeseen pandemic to work together. Much like me, this film short is the first project each person is lending their talent to since being temporarily side lined. We are all excited to come out of the gate together arm in arm!

Being on set with my adopted “sons and daughters” is going to feel so spiritually full! We can’t complete this journey without a little help from you. Any help towards our creative goal is more than appreciated, it’s a blessing, its humbling and it’s amazing!
