Vicky Cakes is on a mission to bring 1 million families back to the table with what we love to call, the Heart of Breakfast. We want to help families create traditions and memories with the ones they love by providing a breakfast experience that will be as unforgettable as the laughter and love they feel!
Family Is the Foundation of Our Pancake Mix
The frequency of families eating together has declined by 33% in the past 20 years. But, Vicky Cakes is changing that! Growing up it was a must that my siblings and I sat at the table together for breakfast before school and dinner in the evenings. There was no eating in front of the television or separate rooms. We dined together, shared about our day at school, and laughed together—these are the memories that shaped my values as a child and now as a wife and mother.
Family is the foundation that starts at home and grows at the table. Due to the global pandemic, more families are quarantined together, more people are working and schooling from home than ever before. This means, there's more time to cook and eat breakfast together.
We want to give folks a tasty reason to come back to the table!

Vicky Cakes is a dairy free/vegan-friendly pancake and waffle mix that has no preservatives, GMOs, artificial flavors, colors, or additives. We have a variety of flavors that is full of real premium ingredients that you can always feel guilt-free when feeding your family.
Our easy-to-use pancake and waffle mixes don’t include powdered eggs or milk so it comes highly recommended and loved by vegans and vegetarians. It also got the stamp of approval from the vegan queen and everyone’s social media auntie, Tabitha Brown!
If you're a mom with children who has allergies, our original and blueberry products are perfect for you because it is free from 7 of the 8 top allergens. Plus, we have a gluten-free mix that's perfect for people avoiding gluten.
From original, blueberry, pecan, chocolate chip to our gluten-free original mix, we’re serving up nothing but light, fluffy and delicious pancake perfection, just like my mother Vicky has for over 40 years!
About Our Team
Our team is comprised of 7 amazingly dedicated hard workers who are committed to seeing Vicky Cakes grow. We’ve grown from a home-based business pre-COVID-19 to a full-fledged pancake mix company that wins the hearts and stomachs of America! However, we are still a small business and we need to expand to meet the demand and growth soon, so we humbly ask and appreciate your help and support, because with it we will be able to offer safe and stable employment to our current and future team members.

In June of 2020, Quaker Oats announced the rebranding of Aunt Jemima pancake mix—a product that has been falsely branded as a black-owned product but indeed is not. This has caused a lot of breakfast lovers and supporters of that brand to switch over to authentically black-owned pancake mix.

When will I receive my reward?

What if I would like to contribute more money but am interested in a particular reward?
There is an option to donate an open value amount (see homepage). You can always purchase a specific reward and then add on any additional amount through the open value reward.
What will the money be used for?
The money will help us to execute a large production run, which would allow us to scale and take on some retail opportunities, start a subscription service for our loyal monthly customers, and finally increase our packaging size to meet the growing demand for MORE VICKY CAKES!
What if I cannot financially afford to contribute?

Yes, we are proudly 100% black owned, and 70% woman owned.
What is the story of Vicky Cakes?
Vicky Cakes is the brain child of good food and family. My mother Vicky created this recipe over 40 years ago before I was born. As a single mom of four, she had to make it work, so she used simple ingredients she already had in the pantry. My siblings and I enjoyed these delicious for many years, so I knew that when I became a mom and wife, I had to share this recipe with my family and families around the world.
My husband came up with the name “Vicky Cakes” after eating and falling in love with the pancakes in 2013 at my mom’s house in Indiana. After 7 years of begging us to package the mix, we decided to launch on Mother’s Day in 2019. The rest is still history in the making.

We have 25,000 customers and counting!
How long have you been in business?
We have in been in business since May 2019.
Where are you located?
We are located in the Dallas, Texas area. Our facility is in the city of Farmers Branch, which is on the border of Dallas.
Product Questions
Are all of your products dairy-free?
The Original mix is used as the base for all of our pancake mixes, and it is dairy free. In short, all of the dry pancake mix is dairy free. The chocolate chip mix isn't considered "dairy free" because the chocolate chips themselves is made with dairy.
Is this a "just add water" mix?
No! Most “just add water” mixes are packed with preservatives and fake ingredients. Our mix is more than a “just add water” product. We did not want preservatives, artificial ingredients, or other additives in our mix to compromise the quality and integrity of Vicky’s original buttermilk pancakes.
Plus, we want you to have clean and wholesome breakfast, which means leaving out all the junk. There is no powdered milk, powdered eggs, dairy, or fake blueberries, pecans or chocolate chips in our mix, which makes our pancakes and waffles a step above the rest. All real everything!
All you need to do is add 5 simple wet ingredients to the dry Vicky Cakes mix to get delicious pancake perfection every time.
