2020 Roboro Year in Review

Hello dear supporters,

I hope this update finds you and yours healthy, safe and with your mental sanity still intact!

It has been a year since we launched Roboro’s IFUNDWOMEN campaign, and what a year 2020 has been! First and foremost, I want to personally thank you for your support. If you have not yet received your thank you gift, don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about you! At the start of the pandemic, Roboro fully transitioned our studio into a full time mask factory. All other projects were put on hold, including our IFUNDWOMEN thank you gifts. While I understand the frustration of donating to crowd funding campaigns that you never hear from again, I also know that you are some of Roboro’s biggest supporters and understand why I made this difficult decision. Thanks to your patience, Roboro was able to fulfill orders for over 2,500 sponsored masks for health care workers, within the first 5 weeks of the PPE shortage, and we are continuing to fulfill orders for personal and sponsored masks.

Thanks to your support and the demand for masks, we have been able to expand our operations even further. We are now working with 3 LA local manufactures (which means I’m no longer at my sewing machine 24/7!). Those of you who are still waiting on your MegZany collaboration tees and Recontained Thank You bags, you will have your gifts by Christmas of this year. As an extra special thank you for your patience, I’ll also be including a Roboro mask!

It has been a rollercoaster of a year. I want each and every one of you to know how much your support has meant to me personally, especially in a year that has been so difficult for small businesses. Roboro would not be where it is today if it were not for your continued support.

From the bottom of my heart, Thank You!

All my love,

Jillian Clark
