FINAL FUNDRAISING CALL
Hello comprehensive sex ed supporters! Liz here with one last update before the Relearning Sex Ed fundraising deadline tomorrow.
First off, I want to again express my gratitude for those who have supported this project either monetarily or via encouragement. I had no idea what to expect when I began this process, and although I haven't come close to meeting my lofty fundraising goal, I am so grateful and appreciative for the funds raised and the support I have received for this project.
Second, just a quick note that tomorrow is the deadline for the iFundWomen campaign, so if you or anyone you know has been considering donating, now is the time!
CONTRIBUTOR UPDATE
I am so thrilled to share the final list of contributors who have agreed to contribute their expertise for the Relearning Sex Ed publication. The following is a list of the sexual health professionals who will be collaborating on this project along with the topics they will be writing about for the publication:
- Courtney Brame: STI stigma and minimization
- Hannah Horton: Sexual pain
- Amanda Cruz Gerena: The impact of religion on sexuality
- May Booth: Consent and intimate partner violence
- Ceara Corry: Self pleasure and Black women's reclamation of their sexuality
- Wildilisa Silverman: Self pleasure and sexual self-care practices
I am so honored that all of the professionals listed above have agreed to contribute to this project. My ultimate goal is to collaborate with 10 individuals, but doing so will be dependent upon the final fundraising amount and my ability to compensate additional individuals. So, again, if you are considering donating, now is the time to do so!
REWARD MAILING UPDATE
