❤️We did it! Now, stretch goals... here we come!

When I first received this opportunity to open a storefront, something in me expanded. I felt energized, excited, and light up. Just like the time when I had the idea to start a vegan & gluten-free baking mix company in my college apartment about 3 years ago (hey Coconut Whisk).

Now, can I tell you a little secret?

I have this fatal flaw (well depends on your perspective) where I say YES, when it feels right. It's like my intuition takes over and I just commit before knowing the logistics or requirements.

So I said "yes". I said yes to this opportunity to open a storefront...

But when the glitter settled and I had this new project to take on that seemed wayyy out of my league...I panicked.

This was about a month ago and I remember feeling overwhelmed. Feeling like an imposter (who do I think I am?). Feeling stressed.

And that lasted a few days.. But then once I got a grip, I realized something really important that I want to share with you today.

When you let your heart, passion, and curiosity guide you, you'll figure it out. No to-do list, no Debbie downer, no limiting belief can or will stop you. Once I came to the realization that this space is an opportunity to contribute to the community, it shifted my mindset. This wasn't about me anymore. We're creating something that will hopefully bring a lot of joy and value to the lives of people. As cheezyy sauce as it sounds, you have to get out of your head and connect with your heart. When I did that, I no longer felt lonely and lost. I felt empowered. I then was able to organize a plan of action. My to-do list became meaningful and my ability to reach out and connect with mentors and peers became natural.

What I'm trying to say is to lead with heart and don't be afraid to say yes when it feels right. You'll find your rhythm. I sure did and I can't believe that in about 2 weeks, we already reached our initial goal of $5,000!

Not a moment goes by where I'm not grateful for each and every funder so far. So thank you for making this first milestone possible!

But the party train doesn’t stop here... you know we always strive to challenge ourselves and push past our limits.

So we're introducing Stretch Goals

You can see what they are here:  https://ifundwomen.com/projects/coconut-whisk-cafe-retail-shop

We'll have another mini giveaway at 80 funders and our next goal is $8k. With your help in sharing our campaign and encouraging friends and family to support or share, we can get to these goals. More funding means we can collaborate with more local artists and finance our equipment and furniture.

Again, thank you for believing in our vision for this space. I hope I can support your dreams and big YES(s) just as much as you've supported mine.

trust your heart and do good work,

Bella & Team Coconut
