Path of Kami Update #23 Out Now On Steam, Itch io, and GameJolt

Hello Wolf Pack!

It's been a while since we sent our last newsletter and that's because we've been head down working on the game....which leads to today's announcement! Today we're excited to share that Path of Kami Journey Begins is out now on Steam, Itch io and GameJolt. The game is available for PC and Linux and supports English, Spanish, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Korean, Polish and Russian.

As a refresher,  Path of Kami is a thoughtful game about life, death, and family. You'll play as Kazeyo, a spirit of a wolf on a journey to ascend to the spirit world. A harsh winter takes Kazeyo’s life, but the gods have offered him the chance to join their ranks—if he can reach the peak of the spirit world....!

Set off on an adventure with your ghostly companion Wisp across a breathtakingly handcrafted watercolor world inspired by ancient Japan. Solve puzzles and discover secrets with creative uses of Kazeyo’s spirit fire powers.

Journey Begins contains the beginning of Kazeyo’s journey as he starts his adventure to ascend to the spirit world. You can visit six areas within the mortal realm, and get a first-ever sneak peek at the spirit world!

Path of Kami key features include:

  • Relaxing Puzzles: Solve puzzles using your elemental spirit fire powers
  • Exploration: Discover secrets and collect a variety of collectibles
  • Soothing Music: A beautiful, relaxing soundtrack
