We are very excited to announce that the Path of Kami Prologue Soundtrack has been released on Bandcamp and Steam! Experience the world and emotion of Path of Kami with the relaxing score from composer Mark Choi. The Path of Kami Prologue (Original Soundtrack) features 7 songs that highlight the relaxing atmosphere, environments, and thrilling moments you'll experience in this adventure.
The album will be coming soon to SoundCloud as well!
Game Updates
We've updated our plans for pricing for the Prologue. Originally we thought of offering the prologue for free to help build our community faster and to use it as a marketing tool. But with talking with our community and friends we have been considering selling it at a low price. Path of Kami is something we've been working on for close to 3 years now and the team has put a lot of effort into making it, some volunteering their own time. In order to help pay the team for their amazing work and to continue to work on games we've decided to sell it at a low price. We hope this will help us make more games in the long run.
So what does this mean? We already had reward teirs that included a steam key, before it was to give those pledges access to the game early on before the public gets their hands on it. We will be still be honoring that reward and also giving those pledges the game for free on release.

In terms of development we have been working hard behind the scenes! We've been doing lots of polish and replacing placeholders with final art. We've also been working on worldbuilding by adding more props and vegetation throughout the world. This includes implementing the collectible statues and our Spirit Key system with final art.
We're excited to share that you'll be able to see these changes in the next update next week on itch io and gamejolt, we'll also be releasing the demo on Steam for Next Festival!
