When the end is only the beginning

While this campaign ended short, it came with lots and lots of lessons. For two weeks I helped share another friends campaign and champion them forward to a successful 101%. I'm okay with that because they have been there for me before and that's what friends do.

It's important to talk with the coaches before starting. I'm sure they would have encouraged me to be patient and wait until after the other one.

I learned something on my own too. While the equestrian therapy is a key part of Lindsay's recovery from trauma, it's not easily accessible to everyone. It honestly gave our film a "western" vibe, when it's not. Our main target audience is where the highest level of domestic violence reports are. Throughout the Appalachian mountains, across the south and up through the Rockie Mountains. But what about the students who don't live in those area's?

I was limiting my reach by isolating our characters into a preconceived idea that did not depict the story well.

So back to the drawing board. The story is still there. Kevin Sorbo is still on board. We still want to raise 2% of our budget. We will be back. Stronger than before!
