Our purpose is to supply today's wellness professionals with a forward thinking community that empowers entrepreneurship through affordable and comprehensive business packages, state-of-the-art facilities, as well as committed Clientele all in search of something better.

The problem we answer for the wellness community is that of the inequity in access. From unrealistic costs and leasing commitments to inadequate spaces and market cannibalization due to lack of provider offerings in a single location.
The annual global spend on the wellness space is $7.1 trillion. In the United States alone, roughly $640 billion is spent each year. Domestic revenue in that sector grew 12.8% last year alone. The number of “Flexworkers” in the USA will be 5.1 million by 2022 and is forecast to continue increasing by roughly 15% annually. The specific market for wellcare advocacy has quintupled in the past 2 years, with a concentration in major metros. Our model allows us to offer practitioners precisely the type of space they require, but for 25%-40% under the current market rate for that type of curated space in Los Angeles. As the market grows, the premium attached to usable space for practitioners will grow in tandem, as supply of such spaces dwindles. This will continue to put price pressure on practitioners, making our huge cost reductions even more desirable.

The Better Spot offers a completely new model of flex-working, one that was built from the ground up, to better serve the needs of independent wellcare professionals and the discerning client base that they collectively cultivate. We will provide a shared forum for participants in this rapidly-expanding industry, and the community in which we serve. A place where practitioners and their clients can meet, heal, coach, transact business, build relationships, and make referrals in the same building.
By putting wellcare forward as the primary anchor philosophy, we have created a new type of shared work environment that can heal not just clients, but also the entire community.
The goal of this funding round is to create the virtual community (App) for The Better Spot that will inevitably secure the funds required to purchase and build out our inaugural brick+mortar location. We will release the Beta directly to the community, allowing us to curate their experience based on their behaviors. Built by us, but built for you.
Our team is led by multi-hyphenate, Madilynn A. Beck, our Founder + CEO, who drives the overall growth, innovation and development of our organization. With a BFA, MEd, MFT and CST, Beck has a diverse academic and professional background, and an inspiring imagination.
She brings us 10 years of experience in the branding and advertising world, working for Target, Apple, Kia and other major industry enterprises. Beck successfully ran her own creative studio for 5 years and has a unique gift, an easy ability to identify her audience, speak their language and answer their pain points.
