T'antay Miami is a home based cake studio that makes high end custom cakes for special occasions. In the Quechua dialect, T’antay means fresh from the oven, and that's what you'll be experiencing.
Here's the problem. other bakeries are not operated with the customer in mind:
1) Many bakeries use mass production and artificial flavors to quickly produce special Occassion cakes like a factory, and you can notice the difference in the flavor.
2) They are also too expensive or cannot produce a beautiful cake within a regular person's budget.
3) Most bakeries operate within the 9-5 schedule, which isn't what most customers need
T’antay Miami is bringing back old school baking and bringing cakes "fresh out of the oven" . We focus on our customer by:
1) Customizing every cake 100% based on a customer's need using high quality and natural ingredients.
2) Working with each person's budget. I can help my customers feel like all their needs are met.
3) We operate 24/7 and are available to take orders outside of the 9-5 schedule. I understand the everyday busy schedule and I want my client to be able to have a beautiful cake without any worry.
Miami is a wedding destination. Last year alone, there are approximately 24,000 weddings that took place in the Miami area. On top of weddings, there are many other celebrations. The T’antay Miami customer is the person who wants their celebration cake to shine. They want something that's both beautiful and tastes high quality.
have been working in the food and event industry for over 15 years, including Miami, New York, and Dubai.
I also know the customer's point of view as I have met and worked with many types of customers over the years. When I had the need of a Peruvian custom Cake for my wedding, but I couldn’t find it anywhere in Miami. I saw it as an opportunity.
With several years in the food industry and as a new mom, I decided to create my business, T’antay Miami.
I am raising money on iFundWomen to help T'antay grow and eventually rent a new space that could also hold classes

What's crowdfunding?
Per Dictionary.com, crowdfunding is "the practice of funding a project or venture by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet."
Who typically crowdfunds?
"Musicians, filmmakers, and artists have successfully raised funds and fostered awareness through crowdfunding."
Like who?
Some of our favorite female entrepreneurl-led businesses have raised money through crowdfunding campaigns.
Why is T'antay crowdfunding?
To help bring the gift of Cake Designing to more people in the Miami community.
How does crowdfunding support that mission?
It would allow us to:
- Hire more people
- Serve more customers across the city
- Purchase equipment to streamline operations
- Invest in strategic marketing to spread our mission
- Create content to better educate the community about the benefits of building a home business.

We can bring more of what our customers want to more people!
How does it work?
Our friends, family, customers, and supporters can make small financial contributions via our IFundWomen campaign page (which will launch on April 1st). There will be an exciting list of "rewards" to choose from in exchange for a contribution.
What kind of rewards?
So many rewards! We're talking cakes, alfajores, workshops, Q&A's with badass Founder, website design, brand videos, custom cupcakes, stickers, and a coffee date with Ingrid (to name a few).
What's in it for me?
Each reward will be heavily discounted (compared to the retail price), so you'll save more by contributing to the campaign than purchasing on your own. And you'll support us in our mission to help Miamians learn, appreciate, and love home-based small business.
By purchasing a reward, do I become an investor?
Not exactly. You'll be investing in our growth as a company and the growth of small business in Miami, but each reward and contribution is similar to a sales transaction. Instead of going to our bottom line, your donation will go directly to our growth plan!
