At Contingenci by Good Human LLC, we aim to create a carbon-negative future by providing sustainable and ethical US manufacturing. We are an all-inclusive “close the loop” service and provide SaaS to next-generation conscious brands & consumers through technology and community.

Our technology SaaS platforms utilize big brand deadstock (e.g., North Face and Marmot) to support smaller sustainable brands. Our technical apparel domain provides expertise services, a micro-circular network of factories, and true upcycling/recycling centers that will assist smaller sustainable brands in adopting circular economic loops and supporting a sustainable, profitable, carbon-negative future. The apparel industry is responsible for 10% of (GHG) global greenhouse gas emissions and 2nd consumer of water worldwide with 20% of global water waste. The industry creates 92 million tons of textile waste annually, with 60% of the GHG emitted while creating new materials/products. What happens to that apparel waste? 4.3% is exported overseas, 14.5% is recycled, 18.7% is incinerated, and 62.5% is sent to landfills. The apparel industry is responsible for 1.2 billion tons of CO2 equivalent per year/ 51 billion GHG average annually. Textiles in landfills can decompose for up to 400 years, releasing methane, CO2 & other GHGs.

 Our “Profit with Purpose” roadmap outlined in our pitch deck can anticipate $100-200 million annually by 2028! 

Good Human uses sustainable materials from high-end brands like TNF, Marmot, and other apparel brands through deadstock fabric. These materials are available to smaller, conscious brands through our SaaS technology platform. This will help reduce landfill waste by creating new consumer goods/products. Contingenci ® by Good Human (DTC &B2B) utilizes bi-waste from prototyping, production, and old Contingenci product lines (sports face masks), which is upcycled into our sustainable dog beds, and our ProVet veterinary line of recycled products (mats, bedding, x-ray, and surgical exam tables) (DTC & B2B). ContingenciX works with celebrity guest designers who care about sustainability. A partnership with an outdoor brand to divert 5,000 sleeping bag shells from landfills has become a collaboration for celebrities wanting sustainable brands. These consumer goods help to reduce waste, create new materials, and use the circular business model to remake, repair, and upcycle new product lines.

We seek funding to maintain viability and help achieve the apparel industry's sustainability goals by 2030! Any funding will be utilized in the following ways: SaaS platform at 36.8%, R&D at 36.8%, payroll at 15.8%, and branding/marketing at 10.5%
