I'm launching Susan Ohrn Jewelry, fine jewelry designed to inspire women to capture their light.
The Rewards
I’m raising $15,000 through this campaign with the sale of holiday gifting bundles. The profits from your purchase of these gifts generates the start-up capital and positive cash flow necessary to sell my products. It will used to build an ecommerce website, purchase customized high end packaging, and create photography and social media needed to market designer jewelry.
The Vision
I've nurtured the dream of designing my own line for years. To that dream I bring fifteen years of designing and developing jewelry for some of the world’s most famous brands – Tiffany & Co., the LVMH brand DeBeers Jewellery and Swarovski.
The design vision is inspired by my Scandinavian heritage; not only the famed modern design aesthetic, but also the progressive roles Scandinavian women have played in its society. This is the DNA of my designs: to inspire women to best capture their light.

Susan Ohrn Jewelry brings the best of classical beautiful jewelry with a relevant and authentic perspective. Each collection features timeless motifs with a unique twist, transversing generations and trends. The designs are elegant, modern metaphors for a woman's unique and personal journey.
Women are demanding more authenticity and ethical commitment from brands. Susan Ohrn Jewelry is produced locally in the US by family-owned jewelry manufacturers. and is designed and managed by a woman with professional experience.
What makes the focus of powerful femininity authentic is that it is my own journey. Realizing my entrepreneurial dream required strength, resilience and a determined focus to flourish. My designs celebrate powerful femininity and meant to resonate and inspire women working through their own challenges.
My Background
I transformed my jewelry passion from a silversmithing hobby to a progressive 15 year career as an executive and designer for some of the world's most successful jewelry brands: Tiffany, De Beers Jewellery, and Swarovski Jewelry. As a Head of Product Lines (e.g., engagement rings), I managed up to $65 Million in annual revenues for those brands, working globally in their headquarters in New York City, London, and Zurich.
My Swarovski experience prepared me to launch my own brand. I was the Head of launching the company's first US Fine Jewelry collection. As such, I created the business plan, established design direction, managed product development, and oversaw all launch elements. We delivered the collection in 11 months from concept - shelf, 4 months less than the standard 15 month Swarovski concept-launch timeframe. I also managed a sales force in selling the collection into jewelry stores. The launch brought incremental business with existing customers, converted new customers, and resulted in excellent customer feedback.
