Problem
Black and Latino artists face a lack of cultural equity, limited access to resources, and a need for a safe and supportive community.
Despite Black and Latino artists being at the forefront of cultural influence, we continue to face a lack of cultural equity. With only a few POC-owned creative platforms and even fewer dedicated to the growth and development of an artist, the need for a centralized platform has never been greater. Black and Latino Artists spend hours researching and booking individual spaces and resources, as well as have difficulty finding a safe and supportive like-minded community.

Super is a comprehensive platform that provides multidisciplinary workshops, resources, and community for Black and Latino artists, empowering them to succeed in the competitive world of the arts.

Super supports the many nuanced aspects of an artist's creative journey by providing the tools needed to learn and expand their craft. The app streamlines the administrative and logistical aspects of running a creative business, such as billing, scheduling, legal, and project management while also providing educational resources for professional development, job listings for creative work, and access to equipment. By providing a centralized platform for artists to manage their careers and connect with others, Super's app empowers artists to succeed in the competitive creative world.

Data Protection: All of the ideas spoken into the MindMap AI are only stored to the members profile and becomes the intellectual property of that artist.

Super's business model is to provide affordable subscription-based memberships with tiered pricing based on amenities and services.
Founder
Crystal Hines, Founder and CEO of Super, was born and raised in Newark, NJ, the City of the Arts. She began her career in 2006 at Vibe Magazine, a culturally iconic publication. In 2007, Crystal launched AMMO Magazine with a mission to fill the void of curated online content that celebrates people of color in the art world. Through her tireless efforts, AMMO became a key player in the world of art and curation. As the parent company of AMMO, Super Media Company was launched, providing artists and creatives with a comprehensive platform to launch and solidify their careers. With her extensive background in art and curation, Crystal is dedicated to promoting and amplifying the voices of underrepresented artists and fostering a diverse and inclusive creative community through Super.

What happened to the funding raised during the last campaign?
All funding from the previous campaign was used to pay for the logistical and business needs of Super (I.e. trademarks, social media staff, site hosting, and monthly expenses.)
Where is my gift from my donation to the last campaign?
On the way! The shirts, tote bags, and notebooks have been produced and will be mailed out before the end of the year.
What will the money raised for this campaign be used for?
All funding will be used to develop and maintain the platform, host Super events, and produce the content and workshops for members.
