The mission of So. Fvshionable, launched in 2018, is to create a space for women to shop for clothing specifically by occasion. Whether the event is a dinner party, everyday wear, or a power suit for the board room, our goal is to feel confident and comfortable for every occasion of your life.  

The problem we solve 

We are on a mission to solve women’s problems of feeling frustrated because they cannot find a specific outfit for an occasion. Have you ever spent all of your time shopping through different stores, but never found what you were looking for? Or went through each section of a website, but forgot why you were shopping? We have...and that’s the problem. So. Fvshionable focuses on saving you from the hassle of having to shop high and low for what you’re looking for. We create specific occasions to match your fashion needs.

At So. Fvshionable, our vision is to create a space for you to shop specifically for every occasion of your life. We also are on a mission to design clothing for all body types because we understand that one size does not fit all. We have plans on expanding our sizes by offering clothing that ranges from size XXS-XXXL. The unforeseen circumstances of COVID-19 cause our latest collection, which was designed to showcase the ranges of sizes, to be canceled due to lack of funds. Here at So.Fvshionable we feel that it’s a priority to make all women feel confident and comfortable in their clothing.

What this grant means for So.Fvshionable

All inventory is sourced from out-of-pocket. I am seeking funds to offset the operating cost associated with purchasing inventory, maintaining the website, and marketing. Also, the COVID-19 Pandemic has caused many financial setbacks. The funds would also help create a new website offering customers a more “user-friendly” shopping process. We have also struggled with marketing and advertising due to a lack of funds. This grant would allow us to reach our audience and target a new audience that has not been reached before due to a lack of funding. 

Who runs So. Fvshionable

My name is Autumn Ellison, a recent graduate from Hampton University. During my time at Hampton, I was surrounded by so many creatives, artists, and fashion enthusiasts that allowed me to realize my passion for inclusive fashion. Since graduating, I have been working tirelessly to make my dream of So. Fvshionable a reality.
