Skin-Tonic Wellness Studio Expansion Project

Skin-tonic is a wellness studio that provides clinical and holistic skincare, body treatments and therapeutic healing services for everyone. These services include Spa facials, Corrective skincare, Body detoxification, and Therapeutic mental health relaxing treatments such as Sound Healing through music, Yoga, Aromatherapy, Massage, and Guided Meditation. 

I believe my gift is sharing my love for skin by using my abilities to provide a healing, therapeutic touch. The services provided at Skin tonic have helped clients:

 (1) Boost their wellness routines

 (2) Reduce stress levels

 (3) Relieve muscle tension

(4) Enhance their overall well-being. 

Studies have shown that enhancing overall well-being is associated with numerous advantages to one’s health, career, family, and even finances. For instance, higher levels of well-being are linked to a lower risk of disease, illness, and injury, improved immune system performance, quicker recovery times, and increased longevity.  

Most clients served by Skin-tonic suffer from conditions like acne, eczema, hyperpigmentation and scarring which I have seen firsthand how it affects more than just your skin. How we “show up” for ourselves and our confidence levels can be affected by our lack of education or proper skincare treatment.

 Clients with these skin conditions can develop depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, poor self-image, and a feeling of being alone. Acne affects about 80% of our population and one out of five people will have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation known as (PIH). Time spent on health-related self-care is disproportionately distributed across our community. This is part of what I fight to overcome for not only my current clients but those other individuals I hope to reach and service through this space expansion. 

**Here’s where we need our funding community! Although I have been able to touch and help thousands of people with their skin health and wellness from my ONE ROOM studio, there are still more people in the community to reach. My customer base has continued to grow, we are active in service to our elders within our community and people have made Skin-tonic part of their lifestyle. The oldest client I serviced was 97 YEARS OLD! SO – it’s always a good time to be intentional about your life and health. Access to proper skincare treatments and cultural influence have been a factor for whether some people choose to seek treatment for their skin conditions. 

Currently, we are in the process remodeling our FIRST BRICK & MORTAR location and need help completing the last phase of construction/design. This is a good problem for us since we have a loyal customer base who want to be part of the Skin-tonic wellness community but only have space for one client at a time.

Our personalized wellness services provide clients a safe space for relaxation and nourishment, but we want to enhance their experience by adding more services, education and wellness professionals to our team – so that we can service more people! Your donations will help us acheive this vision and goal we have been patiently waiting to build and bring into fruition!
