Sjogren’s Tracker is driven by values of compassion, innovation, and integrity. Our mission to create affordable solutions to an underserved demographic of individuals with autoimmune conditions.

With an estimated 24 million individuals in the US with autoimmune diseases and no effective medical treatments, patients are largely left to manage their own conditions, with periodic check-ins with physicians. Conventionally, physicians advise patients to keep a notebook to track their symptoms. However, this is both time consuming and difficult to use for statistical analysis. Sjogren's Tracker specifically aims to address the needs of autoimmune patients and is designed for quick daily use. With the app, graphics and statistics are automatically generated, which help patients better understand their conditions. The app also provides summaries that are helpful to bring to physician appointments.

We are currently seeking $30,000 to help us build and implement a secure database for user data. We want to make sure that users' data are protected. At the same time, we also want to be able to generate anonymous statistical information on various autoimmune conditions that would be useful to the research community. Our goal is not only to make patients' lives easier, but to raise awareness and support scientific research in autoimmune diseases.

I am currently the sole founder of Sjogren's Tracker. I funded the creation of this app after suffering from Sjogren's for years and not being able to find a solution from doctors. I was told to keep track of everything in a notebook. Initially, I began tracking information on an excel sheet and eventually started graphing my symptom ratings over time. I then began to see trends of seasonal flares and other correlations. I created this app so others can also have the benefits of automated graphs and statistics. I'm currently looking for a technical co-founder to help me build out additional features.
