Rent the Look: Own the Experience

Shaadi (sha-dee) Outfitters is here to help you if you are invited to an South Asian wedding, Diwali party, or an event in which you may want to wear Indian clothes! We wanted to help you look and feel your best in Indian clothes, even if it's something you have never worn before. We are so excited to help you learn about the culture, clothes, and more, so you are ready to own the experience!

Owning Indian clothes outright, when you may only be invited to one or two Indian events in your lifetime, is expensive and not sustainable! We know it may not be clear on where to go to buy an outfit for your event, how it's supposed to fit, what colors work for the event, etc.  We want to take away all that uncertainty and make it easy for you to acquire an outfit that you don't need to think about after the fact! 

According to the Texas Department of State Health Services, there were 14,423 South Asian weddings in Texas in 2022. If any of these guests want to get in on the full South Asian wedding experience by dressing for the occasion, we want to help! 

We have outfits for men, women, and children, and are size inclusive! We also have the capability to custom design and order based on sizing, color preferences, and more! The outfits are easy to wear, comfortable, and provide an easy way to feel included in a South Asian celebration! 

Building an inventory isn't cheap. We are seeking funding to build out our inventory, photograph our outfits professionally, and grow our platform so we can get our business in front of anyone who may want to use an Indian clothing rental service! 

Our team right now consists of Sarah and Buddy Triplett. Sarah is Indian and married Buddy in 2019, where they had a combo Indian American wedding! It was one big party, and so many of our friends wanted to dress up and be a part of the celebration in that way. We decided to make this easier for all friends and relatives of future weddings, and events!
