Saritah's new studio album 'GIFTS'

Dear friends, 

Welcome to the crowdfunding campaign for my new album GIFTS!! Thank you so much for being here. 

So I have been working on a collection of new songs! They are some of my best songs yet and I am suuuper excited to share them with the world!

Some of the songs on this upcoming album have been in preproduction for a while now, and some of them are brand new. Those of you who have come to a show in the last year or so have already heard some of these songs live either throughout west coast USA, Canada, Australia or Europe.  They are already some of my favourites to play live, and have received so much love and positive response from audiences across the world already. 

Why am I crowdfunding?

The costs of making an album add up really fast, and without a label or investors, I found myself facing the question of how I was actually going to make it happen.  And then COVID happened! Live performances have been the majority of my income for the past 15 years, and with no shows since March or in the near future (I am based in Los Angeles where we are still under strict lockdown), it has been a time of needing to be super creative and resourceful in order to generate income.  Summer is normally the busiest season for live performers, and this summer we are all at home!  I have been super grateful to be able to grow my student base and teach music (voice, songwriting and guitar) online. 

 Realising the power of community support, and that I don't have to do this alone, I'm reaching out to invite you, my worldwide community, to jump on board become a part of this process; a part of this album; a part of bringing these songs to life. This is an opportunity to partner with me to get this album recorded and out to the world. 

Through this crowdfunder you can preorder the album (digital or hardcopy), and also have access to some other unique offerings such as the song-by song audio commentary album companion, 1 on 1 songwriting / vocal sessions with me, limited edition merch, private concerts (for those of you in California - who wants to do a socially distanced outdoor summer house concert!?) and custom songs. Why do I make music?

My intention with the music I make is that it will reach as many ears, hearts and minds as possible, and that it will contribute to collective empowerment, upliftment and healing. I make this music to blast more love and inspiration into the world, that the songs may reach you, touch and move you, and remind you of who you really are and what you are capable of, and that you're not alone. 

In particular with this next album GIFTS, I want to highlight that life itself is a gift, that each day we get to wake up and experience life on earth is an incredible miracle, and that every single one of us has unique and important gifts that the world needs now more than ever! Other themes this album explores include friendship, faith, personal strength and revelation.

Yes yes! I am making this version of the song 'GIFTS' available to you, my biggest supporters, immediately! Recorded in Barcelona, a place very dear to my heart, this song speaks of the importance and urgency of each of us harvesting our unique gifts, and sharing them with the world. 

What will the funds be spent on?

Funds raised will be spent on studio fees - studio hire, producer fees, musician fees, mixing, mastering, and manufacture of CDs as well as producing quality visuals to go with the music including album cover photo shoot, artwork design and music videos as well as a budget for promotion, to tell the world about the album once it's done! 

What will the album sound like?

The overall sound and vibe of this album is fresh, reverent, energising and rejuvenating. This album will be like your favourite smoothie - delicious AND nutritious!! These songs and this album will take their place on the playlists and among the albums that lift you up, that get you reconnected to your higher, infinite self, that reignite your passion and purpose for being the best version of yourself you can be, for the good of all. I can't wait to release these songs so they can accompany you throughout your day!
