Regenerative Ag for Women

ZanBria Artisan Farms is an regenerative farm established in the heart of a high-poverty, rural community. In the community, there is limited access to mental health resources, whole foods, and environmental education resources. There is a lack of access to community agriculture education and exposure to environmental conservation initiatives. ZanBria Artisan Farms is preparing to provide this valuable, high-demand opportunity for entertainment through on-farm experiences, healing and culture.

This 100% woman-owned business is fueled by powerful, feminine energy that cultivates a space for healing and wellness. Not only is high quality heirloom produce grown for physical healing, but the location of the business supports ecotourism as well, where people can come and heal with nature. People can learn, heal and grow with wildlife, native plants and water. Environmental conservation is at the heart of ZanBria Artisan Farms and all of its on-site operations.

Funding is going to support the implementation of regenerative agricultural practices through the construction of a high-tunnel grow system and wildlife safe fencing. This funding provides the 1:1 matching funds for a 30’x84’ grow space that will extend a growing season long enough to grow medicinal plants and botanicals for teas and tinctures. There is extra cost involved in using best practices so this grant would help support best practices around conservation in regenerative agriculture. The products and wellness activities offered at ZanBria Artisan Farms require funds to care, maintain and provide access to participants. These funds will help build structures, care for plants and support wildlife ecology initiatives on the farm.

ZanBria Artisan Farms strives to empower women in self sufficiency, resilience and perseverance. Engineering a self-sustaining, ecological farm with health and wellness for women and Mother Earth at its core, will support educational opportunities through products, publications, social media and on-farm experiences.
