- The Mission: Based on the Phenomenon of Super Novas, Nova Apparel will be dedicated to empowering individuals with the hope of life. Right when your world seems to be at the end of its cycle, Nova Apparel will remind them that it can unexpectedly burst with energy creating new life. This is a reminder that there is light at the end of every tunnel despite being far. or What is the mission of your company or project?
- Social Issue:While the world is steadily shifting, Existing in today's society can become very overbearing and can lead to a rapid decline in mental health. I believe that Mental stability is a key step in regards to improving life quality. With social media live, there is a constant need to feel validated, compete and be better than others, when in reality there is no competition when we are all stars in our own galaxies. This constant search of validation can leave people feeling empty and hopeless. Social Issue 2: While focusing on mental health awareness, Nova apparel also will bring awareness to economic state of the world and fashion business. Fast fashion has exploded over the last couple of years and so has child labor. There is a direct correlation of big fast fashion brands and the rising awareness of child labor. At Nova Apparel we are looking to provide quality clothing without the exploitation of helpless children
- Solution: Nova Apparel is bringing awareness to the mental health crisis in adolescents. Bringing emphasis on College aged people by providing unique modern wear filled with relatable and inspirational pieces. At the same time, Nova Apparel will be focusing on sustainable fashion that has a low carbon footprint compared to larger and faster fashion brands.
- Market Size: This will be a small, but unique brand. Geared towards college students and advocates for mental health and economic stability. I am expecting and would like this brand to reach 10k-50k in audience size.
- Why Crowdfunding ?: I am a college student who comes from a low-income home and does not have access to most resources that would have been able to help. Crowdfunding has had a successful outcome with projects with a goal to advocate through others, I am hopeful that I will have a similar fate Where will the funds go?: Since this is still in the idea and pre-product phase, the funds will go towards research for sustainable manufactures and sample pieces. once found. Once i have established a foundation and relationship with the producers, the money will be then used to order pieces for trial runs and advertising before the actual launch. Other funds will be used to purchase other raw sustainable packaging materials.
- Who is on the team?: The Small business will be run and managed by me until demand excels the quota. I used to be a college student up until earlier this year , when I decided to take a break because I didn't know what my purpose was. Now my mission is to be an advocate for people who feel like they don't have a voice because I know exactly how it feels.

I think it is an amazing feeling to use the one thing everyone is comfortable with and transform it to become a bit more special and meaningful.
