Plinko in Downtown Minot, ND

The Putt District was established in 2017 with a mission of supplying family-fun entertainment to the Minot and surrounding communities. It features a  14-hole hand-crafted glow-in-the-dark mini-golf course , as well as a lounge area with games, snacks, and the famous Pride Dairy ice cream! Rain or shine, The Putt District is the ideal center for families, couples, or individuals seeking an outstanding time!

The Putt District was rated on Travel Pulse, a travel news source, as the "#1 mini-golf course in North Dakota." We are honored by this title as we have worked hard to build a community within our business! As a result, we are wanting to expand our offerings to include more fun for the Minot downtown community. For background, Minot's downtown is growing in amazing ways. For families there are becoming more and more things to do, but other than the bookstore and The Putt District, there isn't a draw to go downtown with your kids. In our research, we saw places like Winnipeg, Canada increase walkability and visibility for business in their downtown for families by offering a 9-hole family plinko golf game. Essentially, being that we already do mini-golf, we set out to create something similar around the city of Minot's downtown. Being that all ages can play plinko, this would encourage families to explore downtown together, and hopefully inspire them to eat, play, and stay downtown. Once granted, we would partner with other local small business owners to have a featured plinko hole outside of their business to drive more foot traffic through their doors. We would coordinate with the City  and downtown association on permitting and designing them in a way, so the city can be proud of the plinko structures.
