We love where we live, but we feel like there is something missing!
With little kids, my husband and I always need somewhere to go for those too rainy, too hot, too cold days Mobile is known for. Restaurants are exhausting…
& other indoor play zones are aimed toward big kids.
Not exactly relaxing for parents… Am I right?
HERE’S THE SOLUTION: PLAY CAFÉ

We plan to open our business located around the Airport/Hillcrest Rd. area, in order to best serve Mobile families with a convenient space to bring your kids, not too far from home.
& here’s the kicker: where parents can RELAX!
Envision this:
· What if we told you there was a place to take your toddler to have a good time, while you could lounge in the café, with full view of them playing?
· What if there was comfortable, upscale, clean, safe, kid-friendly environment where you and your baby could go play?
· What if you needed to work, but had your small children with you & they were begging to get out of the house?
· What if you were able to kick your feet up while your little bit was enjoying themselves as well?
- What if you could sit back with that nice, big, much-needed latte, resting, without having to run after your kid?
· What if you could see your child playing safely while you are enjoying yourself too?
· What if there was a new indoor venue in town for birthdays that caters to kids AND adults?
· What if you found a spot for after-school & weekend camps and events especially for younger kids, designed by an elementary teacher?

Our parent’s lounge area & café will serve coffee (hot & iced!), lattes, babycinnos, as well as other yummy teas, juices and beverages.
We will also offer simple & delicious snack trays, for kids and adults.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
WHAT WILL YOUR OPEN-PLAY HOURS BE?
We will be open on weekdays and Saturday mornings for drop-in open play and will have special events, parties, and classes on the weekends.
HOW MUCH WILL I PAY TO PLAY?
We will charge $9 per child, beginning at 6 months of age. Adults will always be free during open-play hours! Each play pass will include re-entry for the entire day. We will have plenty for even very young babies to do, even if they’re not yet crawling!
I HAVE MULTIPLE CHILDREN, WILL I HAVE TO PAY THE SAME RATE FOR ALL OF THEM?
You won’t need to! We will have discounted rates for families with more than one child if you purchase a membership package.
I LIKE THE CAFE IDEA, BUT WILL I BE ABLE TO USE THE PLAY AREA WITH MY CHILD?
Yes! We will encourage parents to play with their child as much as they like. We will even have café seating right inside of our play area for parents whose children prefer they stay close. We will also have seating inside of our crawlers area. If your child will be more independent, you can enjoy our comfy parents lounge where you'll still enjoy full view of the play area!
AT WHAT AGE WILL YOU START CHARGING CHILDREN TO PLAY?
Our rule will be that if your child is playing, we will ask you to pay for them to do so. We will begin charging at 6 months. Our play area will be geared towards babies, young toddlers, and preschool-aged children- which is why we will charge for these age groups specifically.
I HAVE A CHILD THAT'S OLDER THAN 6. CAN THEY COME TOO?
Of course! We will welcome children that are outside of our play area age group free-of-charge. While not permitted to use any of our play equipment themselves (no exceptions) they can help a younger friend or sibling play. (If they use or abuse the play equipment, however, we will ask them to exit the play area and enjoy the café lounge instead.)
I HAVE AN INFANT, WILL WE PAY TO PLAY AS WELL?
If your infant will be using our play area (we have a special baby play just for them), we'll ask you to purchase a play pass. If they are tagging along while big brother or sister plays and the infant won't be playing, they can hang with their caregiver for free. We will welcome & encourage baby-wearing here!
WILL KIDS OR PARENTS HAVE TO TAKE OFF THEIR SHOES?
In our café and parents lounge, we want you to feel free to wear your shoes. However, our play area will be strictly socks only.
WILL WE BE ABLE TO BRING IN OUR OWN SNACKS OR FOOD?
Yes! We will have snack trays available for purchase, but we are also parents and understand that our offerings won't work for everyone. We will ask that all beverages consumed at our facility are purchased in our café. We will also ask that you do not bring in any food with nuts of traces of nuts for the safety of our other guests.
WILL THE PLAY PASS BE GOOD FOR THE WHOLE DAY?
Yes, once you purchase a play-pass, you will be able to stay and play as long as you like, during open hours. Also included will be same day re-entry, because we understand that many little ones can only enjoy play in shorter intervals.
