WHY does ARX need your help?

ARX is looking to sign a 3 year lease in October for our first permanent home studio at the historic BOK building in South Philadelphia. The space is vanilla box and we’re required to fill it with the necessary equipment to start up. Opening ARX will also help to create jobs and opportunities for young performers, short and long term welfare recipients who have fallen on hard times and inspiring group fitness instructors!  With the opportunity to move all classes and events to a permanent space will allow ARX Fitness to grow beyond expected. 

WHAT is ARX?

For the last 2 years the Alexis Rose Xperience (ARX) has gained momentum by empowering women and girls of all shapes and sizes with a unique physical and emotional fitness experience. While the classes attract a wide age range, the core audience has been women ages 22-40 years of age. ARX offers signature formats which include: Sculpt THAT!, Slay-Fit, Choreo-Werk and Yoga. ARX also offers a fun class for mommies to bond with their newborns in a supportive, motivating environment which has created its loyal following. ARX clients compare the classes to "church"! It's just something you have to experience. 

WHAT does ARX offer? 

To date classes for individuals and groups have been held in Fort Washington and Center City but the plan is to move all classes to a permanent space in Philadelphia. ARX resonates with individuals and corporate audiences in a wide range of different industries. Recently, a very successful corporate class with Urban Outfitters', Neiman Marcus and Girls Inc. led to their employees and followers coming to ARX classes independently and added classes within the company. 

ARX is a place where women and young girls begin to pour their emotions into the room and lift one another to emotional freedom. It's very clear that Alexis does not just sell fitness classes, she offers empowerment, confidence and hope. Through working on your emotional health, the physical has no choice but to strengthen. 

WHO is the Founder Alexis Rose?

A New Yorker at heart, Alexis Rose is a certified professional fitness instructor motivational speaker, dancer & choreographer who’s electrifying personality is unmatched! Dance is where it all started for her. After years of dance study, she performed as a back- up dancer & assisted choreography for recording artists such as Ciara, Fabolous, Trey Songz, Donnie McClurkin and many others.

After having two children that are 10 years apart Alexis pushed herself to lose over 100lbs and claimed her spot once again in the business. Following her weight loss she was recruited by SoulCycle and became one of their most motivating and passionate instructors. Getting back to her roots, Alexis Rose founded the Alexis Rose Xperience, a boutique fitness and dance company. Her personal clientele includes celebrities such as Michelle Obama, Betty Who, and Tinashe’.  

Alexis Rose has reigned as the "Empowerment Queen." Even though she has seen a great amount of darkness in her life, she spreads positivity and light to others. Her clients say her class is like dance therapy.
