Project Description
Millennial Wealth Builders is an audio docuseries for women of color that sparks dialogues to normalize money conversations. We also highlight practical wealth-building strategies and empower our listeners to take action and build wealth. Now we want to transform our audio content into a page-turning book.
Here's the problem: Women of Color are at a disadvantage when it comes to building wealth. We are paid less than 82 cents for every dollar men make. So, how can we build wealth when we make less?
Here's reality: We don't. We can't save or invest what we don't earn. We also lack the knowledge, network, and resources to succeed.
Here's the solution: The stories from women entrepreneurs previously featured on our podcast empower listeners to take action with their money and careers. Guests' stories provide concrete steps on negotiating your salary, taking on leadership roles, prioritizing yourself, ascending in your career, and more.

Who created Millennial Wealth Builders?
Acquania Escarne and Danielle Desir met at a financial blogger conference in 2018. They instantly formed a friendship around their interest in building wealth and creating informative content online.
Danielle Desir is the host of the affordable travel and personal finance podcast, The Thought Card, which has amassed over 63,000 downloads worldwide in two years. As a Wealth Strategist, Acquania Escarne helps clients build and maintain generational wealth through saving and investing. Through her website and podcast, The Purpose of Money, Acquania teaches Women of Color about saving, investing, and building wealth through real estate, investing in the stock market, life insurance, and more.
