Project Description
You were meant for more than a ho-hum, drag yourself out of bed, muddle your way through the day and go to sleep to do it all over again life.
We are indoctrinated from a young age to sit in our seats, face forward, be quiet and fall into line. Do what we are told, and for God’s sake…just be normal.
Grow up. Get married. Make babies. Live a mediocre life, just like everyone else.
Spolier alert: God meant you to have and be more.
I mean, sure, you were supposed to have the kids and the husband…but life was never supposed to be mediocre.
It’s scary to move out of that familiar place into a more bold way of living, but I’m here to tell you that you can do it.
The Just Boldly Go Project can help all women get to this place.
Our mission is to help women everywhere learn how to live a life they can't wait to get out of bed for EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
So many women are just living life as a ho-hum, boring as crap, zombie.
You wake up, get through the day, go to bed and do it all over again ad infinitum. There is nothing exciting happening, and you don't even do things you love doing anymore.
We want to change that.
The goal of The Just Boldly Go Project is to give all women the tools they need to chase their goals and passions. If you want to create a business, we can help. If you want to learn new skills, we can help. If you want to just learn how to tame the chaos in your life - we can help with that too.
The primary goal of The Just Boldly Go Project is to create an online community to support the dreams and goals of women everywhere.

Locally, in Defiance, Ohio, we will be creating Maison Rouge - a co-working space with weekly events, event rental space and meeting rental space.

I've been running a successful branding business for the last thirteen years, and my heart aches for women who put off their dreams until their kids are grown - only to discover that they don't know who they are anymore.

The Project FAQs
Why are some members not listed on iFund? And where can we see your total funding? Some women have purchased their membership in cash or during our events. These purchases are not logged on iFund.
The total funds raised will be updated on the front page of iFund daily.
EVENTS
How many events can we expect per month? We are planning to have (4) events per month.
Can members host events? Maison Rouge is designed with you and for you. We would love to work with you on ideas that you have for hosting an event for our membership. Whether you're testing a new idea or want to reach a new audience, this will be a receptive group.
THE SPACE
Where is the space? The space is on the corner of Jefferson Avenue and 5th Street in the heart of Defiance, Ohio.
How big is the space, and what will it include? The space is just over 3100 square feet and will include a kitchenette, living room/lounge, study area, meeting room and restrooms. The space is flexible enough to accommodate a variety of events, from presentations for a broader audience to focused round-table discussions.
Can we talk details? Like, will there be COFFEE?
- For sure, there will be unlimited coffee provided daily.
- Yes, you will be able to reserve the meeting room FOR FREE with a Full Membership. The schedule will be tracked, and if there are scheduling issues we will adjust our policies accordingly.
- Yes, you will be able to print, scan, and receive packages, at additional cost to your membership.
- Yes, you will be able to bring in food, as long as you take it with you at the end of the day.
MEMBERSHIP
Are there membership requirements? Annual membership is required, and will be effective January 2021.
Are members allowed to bring guests? Only Full Members are allowed to bring guests for the purposes of meetings. Member-guest events will also be offered throughout the year.
What will the business hours be? Maison Rouge will be open Monday - Friday, 7am-4pm. These hours are subject to change and will be evaluated once the space is open.
FUNDING
What if you don't reach your funding goal? If we fall very short of reaching our goal, we will refund membership contributions. If we come close to our goal, we will review our business plan within one month to evaluate scenarios that would still allow us to move forward. If within one month we have not implemented an alternative scenario, we will refund membership contributions.
You're a woman who wants to have flexibility. You can't commit to working in the space every day, but you want it as an option for when you want to use it.
$500 gets you 8 days of co-working time a month for 7 months.
When month 8 begins, you will be billed @ $99 a month to continue your membership.
