- Hi, my name is Joyelle and I have been a licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician for 20 year. I have been making soap and skin care products for about 12 years and I received my Yoga Teacher Instructor Certification 3 years ago. I also worked at a Massage Therapy and Esthetician Instructor for 9 years. Now, I need your help bringing it all together in one united space!
- The purpose of Joy's Body Bar is to provide a welcoming, safe and comfortable space for our community and visitors to enjoy our handcrafted, all natural soaps and skin care products, Massage Therapy, Skin Care, Body Treatments and Yoga classes. Creating a space for people to come to create their own natural soaps and skin care products in private classes or with family, friends and coworkers; to host birthday parties, date nights, Girls' Night Out, team building events, spa days and more!
- With our new venue, we will be able to gift our community with a Massage Therapy Apprenticeship free of charge! The state of Florida has a one year apprenticeship option to become a Massage Therapist and we will be offering this one-on-one program to someone in our community that wants to become a Massage Therapist but cannot afford technical school. We will be providing all of the books, hand-on practice and education needed to pass the state boards, along with a paid position at Joy's Body Bar. Your help is crucial in helping us make this possible! We will also be able to provide job opportunities and continuing education to other licensed Massage Therapists and Estheticians.

- The health and wellness market is bigger than ever and grows everyday and people are craving find relief from the stresses of life, especially in light of the pandemic that our nation has faced. More and more people are seeking natural ways of recuperating mentally and emotionally from the trials of so much change. This is our chance to help provide the people of our community with a place that they feel relief from the mental, physical and emotional distress of daily life.
- Joy's Body Bar makes handcrafted soaps and skin care products and provides the opportunity to educate people of all ages on the importance of healthy skin care and gives them a chance to create their own products. These classes and workshops are both educational and therapeutic by giving people the chance to get lost in creating something with their own hands. We want to give our community a local place to come for their own mind and body wellness and the ability to create special occasions with friends and loved ones without needing to travel far from home. It also creates a place for visitors and tourists to come for retail shopping, spa treatments and classes while stimulating and supporting our community's economy at a welcoming place that will feel like a home away from home for them.
- As a Massage Therapist and Esthetician of 20 years, I know firsthand the trials of starting a career in the health and wellness field. Joy's Body Bar provides jobs for licensed Massage Therapists, Estheticians and other beauty specialists in an environment that will help to support their craft and expand their education in the ever expanding health and wellness field. It is my goal for those working at Joy's Body Bar to find mentorship and support while also supporting their co-workers both professionally and emotionally.
- There are also near by beauty schools and with the opening of our commercial building, we will be able to provide newly graduated students with the continuing education necessary for renewing their professional licenses.

Massage Class - Our ultimate goal is to give back to our community and provide them with a clean, professional facility that they will feel comfortable at and know that they will be receiving professional massage, skin care and other spa services.
- I am seeking funding to help move Joy's Body Bar from online sales, vendor shows and in-home massage into a commercial building to better serve our community by giving them the wellness and education venue that they deserve. The money received will give us the opportunity to purchase the equipment needed to create spa rooms for other licensed beauty specialists to provide spa services to our community and tourists. It will also be spent on the start up needed to provide textbooks and curriculum for our Massage Therapy Apprenticeship Scholarship. We have found an amazing commercial building to call Joy's Body Bar home right in the heart of my hometown and we need your help to make this all possible!
- This is a dream of community wellness and oneness that I have held in my heart since I started my journey as a Massage Therapist and Esthetician 20 years ago. My team includes every client, student, friend, co-worker and acquaintance that has helped me to realize my purpose as a healer, teacher and forever student.
