Professional Social Network Platform (Coming Q4 2025/Q1 2026): 

AI 1:1 DM Matching/App Launch: 

Problem: Professionals are becoming exhausted and discouraged by reaching out to people on social platforms who are not responding back to them. While a large portion of people think they are being ignored, the reality is a lot of professionals on these platforms are inactive users. This creates distrust in the social experience because, well, where is the social aspect if no one responds other than bots? 

Solution: Implement intentional AI 1:1 DM matching where premium subscription users will be paired with professionals with similar interests directly in the DM, receive conversation starters and be recommended places they can meet online or IRL.

Why us? Why should Juju, our Founder, be supported to solve this problem?

Now, you're probably wondering, "Why you? Why should Juju be supported to solve this problem?". Don't worry, I have the answers! To know me is to know that I have spent the last 10+ years building community and doing everything in my power to make my community of young professionals and founders more socially, financially, and physically fulfilled. I have done so in a plethora of ways. 

These include: 

• 2014-2018: At SUNY Albany, I served in numerous leadership roles including:
  • Student Government President overseeing $2.67 million dollars to transform the lives of our students
  • President (Treasurer a year prior) of the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) where I successfully fundraised nearly $20,000 to bring pre-medical students to the AMEC Conference for the first time in our chapter's history
  • Co-Chair of NAACP's Health Committee to promote health awareness amongst our members and overall SUNY Albany community

• 2020: Created and operated a startup called MilleniVision, a digital media and career advancement platform for young professionals. We connected 2,100 young professionals to over 200+ diverse, mid-senior level professionals via 60+ live & virtual events and 20 career development articles. This startup was supported and funded by Blackstone Launchpad which provided me access to $10,000 to help build my company. 

• 2020-2023: I doubled down on my pursuit to transition from wanting to attend medical school to cultivating myself as a rising business and tech leader in the digital health space. This has permitted me to become a growing expert in the Information and Communications Technology realm. Through my roles as a product manager, UX research professional, sales and project manager, I have successfully built numerous products solving urgent issues plaguing the lives of patients including:
  • Customer management software
  • Electronic health records software (EHR)
  • Automated phone systems
  • SMS 

  • Chatbot

    • All of which have, collectively, allowed me to impact nearly a million patient's lives.

     

• 2023-2024: Hue Capital Era
  • Created an online and IRL community of 10,000 professionals across numerous platforms including email, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.
  • We have held 20+ events (networking, workshops, and more).
  • Since launching our website back in February with minimal promotion (we wanted to wait for Huey to launch to properly promote the site), we were able to garner ~11,000 unique users to the site. 
    • Our biggest wins, thus far?
      • Transformed our quarterly HuLane Networking Mixer from an 120 person event to a 400+ person event in the span of just 3 events. 
      • Held our inaugural Winning Women NYC Summit for ~100 rising women leaders which was backed by prominent financial companies including Chase and Equitable.
