- Fashion industry is a major contributor to carbon emissions and the 2nd largest source of water pollution. People wants more eco-conscious alternatives. Current slow fashion solutions have limited user options and/or are pricey. Additionally, post-COVID there is more interest in in-person events; global events industry growth is projected to reach $2.1T by 2032. No companies focus specifically on slow fashion events. BeReworn makes slow fashion more accessible.
These funds will help us host a large local clothing swap in Detroit and enable us to reach more hosts,
providing them with the resources they need to organize their own swaps. Happy swapping! Let’s make a change!
