Our Problem
There are hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs in the United States working in the social impact space. However, many lack the necessary support and expertise to become successful. On top of that, less than 1% of venture money goes to social impact initiatives, while investment into women and minority-owned businesses is 80% lower than the overall median investment in business. We’re seeking to change that.
Our Solution
Righteous Causes is a benefit corporation whose mission is to accelerate social impact founders by connecting them to human and capital resources. Good Counsel Services is one of the incredible founders in our portfolio that aims to educate, empower, and ensure the legal and financial security of nonprofits and social entrepreneurs. Good Counsel Services provides changemakers with affordable and quality legal education, business development consulting, and one-on-one direct legal services.
All proceeds from this campaign will go directly towards a program beginning this fall where female-identifying clients of Good Counsel Services will have access to a series of workshops where they can share their pain points and share their best practices collaboratively. Each participant will also receive a free needs assessment from Good Counsel Services’ legal team.
How We Work
Righteous Causes is the only company connecting corporate, government, and public dollars to underserved entrepreneurs. There’s over $580B available in funds through these three sources and over 200,000 social impact founders that need the support.
Righteous Causes increases exposure and facilitates interaction between entrepreneurs, funders, and consultants. We are a one-stop-shop for the growth of social impact entrepreneurs. Righteous Causes is bridging social impact and profit by highlighting up-and-coming founders, connecting them to funds, and matching them with our consultants for their growth.

When you donate every day for the month of July - a total donation of $31 - you will be contributing a small amount alongside a community of changemakers. These combined efforts and dollars will be given to Good Counsel Services, Inc., a deserving charity that works to provide legal and financial support to early-stage founders.

Righteous Causes provides targeted help depending on each company’s individual needs that include legal, marketing, accounting, business and life coaching, and financial resource development. The funding process works by allowing investors to access a network of vetted social impact entrepreneurs who we see as having great potential.
