Hello & welcome to our campaign page!
My name is Stefanie Gray, and I founded Babbie with the mission to create a Gluten free & low sugar edible cookie dough product that also promotes gut health thanks to our flaxseed & Baobab fruit ingredients! We offer flavors such as, FIRST LOVE CHOCOLATE CHIP, STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKIN’, PEANUT BUTTER BAE and LEMON DRIP.
We are raising money in order to cover the cost of:
*Ingredients (Gluten-free flour, Baobab Fruit, Monk Fruit, Natural Flavoring)
*Commercial Kitchen Space
*Food Packaging
*Shipping Materials
While the market has its fair share of edible cookie doughs, there are no brands (until now) that are 100% gluten-free, 100% delicious and has food equity in mind.
Our dough targets those who are not only gluten-free but seek to lower blood sugar; a long-standing issue within communities of color. We can achieve that by using Monk Fruit as our main sweetening agent and with the use of Organic African Baobab Fruit.
We are seeking to create a delicious product that helps to eliminate the guilt associated with eating traditional cookie dough and to expand our business through online sales and distribution to store in communities of color and beyond.

How will I receive my reward?

Why a gluten free edible cookie dough bar and bakery?
Many adults, including myself, develop & discover new gluten intolerances every day. We believe everyone should be able to continue to indulge in the same sweet treats we've always loved without adverse digestive reactions. And besides - who doesn't love eating cookie dough?! :D It's a guilty pleasure that we want consumers to enjoy (safely) without the health & tummy issues.
What makes us different from other edible cookie doughs?
We replace cane sugar with Monk fruit (healthier than Stevia) and use flaxseed instead of eggs and Baobab Fruit that not only promotes digestive health but also blood sugar control.
How will the dough arrive?
Our cookie dough will be shipped in cold packed/insulated boxes. If cookie dough arrives cool or at room temperature, don't fret! Put it in the fridge and enjoy when you'd like. :)
How long does the dough last?
While the cookie dough lasts longer cold, it can be safely stored at room temperature when kept airtight as it does not contain any raw food. The dough will last approx. 2 weeks at room temperature, 45 days in the fridge & 10 months in the freezer.
How do I bake it?
1) Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. 2) Scoop out TBS-sized dough & make a ball. 3) Place dough on non-stick or parchment-lined cookie sheet & press down slightly to flatten dough. 4)Bake for 8-11 minutes. Let cool 1-2 minutes...then devour. :)
