Project Description

What’s Zebra's mission? Our mission is to help businesses better serve the needs of cross-cultural, vulnerable, hard-to-reach populations through compassionate and empathy led research.

Do you want to know what exactly we are setting out to change? By 2042 a majority of the U.S. will be what is now considered minority populations, and many organizations struggle to serve and understand a diverse marketplace. Marginalized populations experience few spaces where they feel dignity and respect, and our unique research process creates a safe space to better understand the challenges and needs of underserved populations ranging from lower socioeconomic income, LGBTQ, disease states, black, Hispanic, differently-abled and returning citizens populations. We’re able to uncover insights on deeply personal and often painful life experiences for these populations to help organizations uncover eye-opening, research-backed business solutions to better serve them.

Are you ready to find out the market power behind minorities? Minority populations represent over $3.9 trillion in incredible spending power -- and face health and lifestyle disparities that require unique and intentional solutions to serve their needs. During this continuing public health crisis,  Zebra Strategies will develop more outreach channels to continue to be a trusted research partner with vulnerable populations to act quickly and efficiently.  The market opportunity is very large, but most importantly Zebra's Strategies mission is to seize the market opportunity with empathy while giving a voice to voiceless marginalized communities as they confront issues of health, education, income disparity, and business ownership.

Why is Zebra the most qualified to tackle this?  We specialize in research design, focus group moderating and recruiting research methods that take into account the nuances that someone with a more traditional background might overlook. Our ability to engage and gain trust with people from all walks of life through compassionate empathy and listening means we gather deeper and richer insights than traditional marketing firms, providing critical data that improves the bottom line and impact of any development project.

Social disparities are even more present as the world grapples with Covid-19 and racial injustice. This grant will help us to continue our efforts to work with corporations to better understand and serve the rapidly changing world around them and the populations most affected by these history-changing global events.

Bet you’re dying to know who’s on our team! Check out our website to see who’s on staff, but know that it’s not just us that makes this work special. If we had a virtual dinner party to celebrate, you’d be our esteemed guest and could take an extra serving of whatever dish you’d like! Thank you for believing in a better future and for providing us the funding to help make that happen through the research we’re passionate about facilitating.
