Based in Brooklyn, New York, Kris Harring is a gender neutral eveningwear brand taking a softened approach to traditional tailoring.

Based around the deconstruction and re-imagination of the classic tuxedo, the brand looks to explore the ideals of a world in “uniform”; where open-ness, vulnerability and freedom of self through wardrobe transcends.

Who is Kris?

Kris understands the power of individuality and freedom of expression through personal style and designs around the ethos that "clothing should be made for fit, not gender."

Kris Harrington is a Brooklyn, NY based designer and creative consultant with experience at some of the leading fashion brands; Ermenegildo Zenga, Armani Exchange, Van Heusen, Henri Bendel and DKNY. In the summer of 2016, she began designing custom tailored wear for client weddings and doing alterations out of her home studio where her work has been featured in major publications such as the New York Times and NY Magazine Weddings, Equally Wed and on display at the Museum at FIT. Kris is a Maryland-native who holds a bachelors degree in business from Loyola University Maryland and graduated top 5 in her class from the menswear design program at NYCs Fashion Institute of Technology.

Our IFW Campaign

On September 6th 2017, we will be introducing a capsule collection of gender-neutral evening-wear with a 7-look fashion presentation to the press, fashion industry professionals and local community-members during New York Fashion Week.

As a gender non-conforming designer, it is extremely important for me to work with companies and professionals who align with my personal mission and have assembled a talented team of event producers, staff, photographers, makeup and hair artists, along with amazing models in the LGBTQIA community to help bring my vision to life.
