What is Femology?

With headquarters in Detroit, Michigan, Femology provides a network of co-working and acceleration spaces built for women entrepreneurs. A true haven to bolster the productivity and creativity of it’s members. An environment and workspace that is both transformative and collaborative that offers dynamic office space, capital resources and mentorship needed to grow scalable and successful women-led businesses.

Our Why

While there are social clubs and co-working spaces, throughout the city there didn’t seem to be a universal, all-inclusive setting for women, at all levels, across all industries to gather, learn, support and connect. The gap is wide and widening further as women are becoming entrepreneurs at record levels. In order to reach more women across industries with impact, value and effectiveness, the idea of Femology was born.

Combining innovative and accessible workspaces with tailored learning experiences, content and programming, Femology seeks to enhance the greatest strengths of its members. Since inception in late 2017, Femology has welcomed over 1,000 event attendees and over 100 members with our current 500 sq.ft. location. 

The Mission

We’re building a dynamic and diverse community of women who take control of their lives and invest in themselves and each other. Femology is a haven for the creative, the ambitious, the change makers, and the trailblazers. It is the ultimate business advocate for women providing the mentorship and social community needed to thrive. We invite you to join us this Fall for the grand opening of our new space!

Expansion + Growth: The Space

Femology's new location will be a 3,000 square foot co-working space located in Downtown Detroit. Our space will offer vibrant workspace and a vast ecosystem of members, services, offerings, and perks.

Femology is widely known for its signature programming such as Blogger Bash, Female Millionaires and our most recent partnership with global brand Saks 5th Avenue. Femology is committed to its community and does good on it's promise to propel its members in all aspects of entrepreneurship.

Business Accelerator 

In partnership with a renown and nationally ranked accelerator, Femology will become the only female focused collective to host and support an accredited business accelerator. Chosen applicants will meet bi-weekly to refine their business model, meet mentors, strategize their growth, gain customer traction and pitch investors.

The Fem-leader membership includes full unlimited access to our space and amenities during operating hours. Fem-leader membership comes with exclusive perks like company mailbox, digital membership, complimentary copy and print services and discounted space rental fee for events.

FEM-PRENEUR - $199/m
The Fem-preneur membership includes full unlimited access to our space and amenities during operating hours. Fem-preneur membership comes with exclusive perks like digital membership and discounted space rental fee for events.

FEM-BUILDER - $149/m
The Fem-builder membership includes full unlimited access to our space and amenities during operating hours. Fem-builder membership comes with exclusive perks like discounted space rental fee for events.

DIGITAL - $34/m
A membership experience created with our global community of ambitious women in mind. Inclusive of access to online mentor sessions, business building templates and resources, network of members, and virtual access to live streamed events. 

MEMBERSHIP DETAILS
Femology membership gives you access to select programming. Our programming consists of our signature events held quarterly as well as workshops held in our space 2x per month.

Femology's power lies with our members and our community. We want our members to feel as much a part of building what Femology is as we do. We’ve partnered with IFW, a female-only crowdfunding platform, to help get the job done. Funds secured through our crowdfunding campaign will be used to further accelerate the build out of our new flagship location Detroit, MI, the most critical component of the nationwide Femology expansion.

The Female Founders

Founded in 2017 by Meagan Ward, Femology was born out of the sheer need of women wanting to hold space. Meagan is the incomparable impact leader, strategist and branding maven leading an enterprising network of professional women through dynamic execution of brand creation, strategy and advocacy. Crafting her own life’s work around the transcendence of womanhood and career, Meagan’s keen expertise as a serial entrepreneur and industry trailblazer consistently propels women forward in successful business ownership through transformation of passion into purpose.

After years of working with women through her design firm, she realized the gap in the Detroit area for driven and entreprenurial women to assemble. There was a burning desire for professional growth yet no physical place for women in business to get together with access to coaching, mentoring and networking, to name a few, at an enterprise level.
