Female lead, AI powered individualized treatment

If you've ever had a concussion you'll know that the symptoms are more than just painful. Concussions affect many areas including: 

• Sleep 
• Cognition 
• Mental Health 
• back/neck 
• Social functioning 
• Balance 

When you sustain a concussion, each affected area requires a medical specialist for treatment. Too often, when patients sustain concussions their physicians do not refer them to all the necessary specialists required. This leads to long and costly recoveries . In the end, patients are forced to pay out of pocket because their insurance won't cover the costs  and on average concussion care costs $10K, an unaffordable amount for most people. We are on a mission to change that. 

Our solution is an AI based platform, trained on hundreds of patients, that can create an individualized treatment plan and recommend the necessary specialists a patient needs for optimal recovery. 

We plan to partner with healthcare providers, hospital networks, and insurance providers. Healthcare providers will use our platform to provide care to patients and insurance providers will use our platform to assess recovery times and process concussion related claims based on the recommendations generated by our AI. 

The market: Every year 2-4 million people in the United States sustain concussions and the CDC has noted that concussion costs the United States $40 billion annually. 

The team: We have an incredibly diverse female lead team with expertise that spans concussion rehab, AI and data science, and business/entrepreneurship. Dr. Aliya Babul (co-founder) completed her PhD in computational physics with AI applications at Columbia University and worked as a data scientist at Morgan Stanley. She is currently completing her MBA at Oxford Said Business School. Dr. Cirelle Rosenblatt (co-founder) is a trained neuropsychologist with 20 years of experience treating concussion patients, including several Olympic athletes. Michael Cole (co-founder) is a successfully exited previous founder with 20 years of experience working in technology. 

Funding: We are seeking funding to hire a UI designer to improve our platform UI before we go to market. We are currently hoping to start forming partnerships with healthcare providers by early 2024 and scale to $1M in revenue by mid-2024 before expanding globally. We will also use some funding for marketing/sales to start building partnerships with healthcare providers.
