From our modern tech collection to boost your productivity, to our multi-functional office collection to elevate your hustle, to our comfort home collection to bring joy and convenience to your life, we exist to empower you to live extraordinarily.

The Problem

We found that most office set-ups and tech gadgets were:

• Primarily for the male-dominated corporate environment

• Not versatile, multi-functional, or innovative

• Most often, style doesn’t come with function (and comes with a hefty price tag)

The Opportunity

We started Multitasky because we identified a huge demand for (FUN)ctional lifestyle products, which includes computer and phone accessories, office supplies, home organization and more. (FUN)ctional essentially just means both fun and functional – we identified that currently only 2% of the products in the lifestyle market meets the (FUN)ctional definition. We are specifically targeting the western markets, which is a $7B opportunity by 2025. With the rise in social commerce, hashtag trends like #tiktokmademebuyit or #musthaves are driving up the demand for (FUN)ctional lifestyle products that improve productivity and happiness. However, unlike “Fast-Fashion,” no brand in the lifestyle industry has figured out how to launch “Fast-Lifestyle” based on social trends.

Our Founder

Julia Xu is the Founder & CEO of Multitasky, a (FUN)ctional omnichannel lifestyle brand designed for women. She also founded USourced, a product sourcing agency and platform connecting brands and creators with the best manufacturers worldwide. Julia is also the owner of ResourceryecommResourcery.com, a global supply chain agency providing freight and 3PL services. In addition, Julia occasionally helps eCommerce businesses with financial modeling and business strategies as an independent consultant.

Before starting her ventures, Julia has built business strategies and financial models for Fortune 500 companies including Alibaba, Disney+, McKinsey & Co., and many more.

Born in San Francisco and raised in Beijing, Julia is a hybrid of both cultures, carrying a global perspective in life. She was Chief of Staff at Alibaba North America, where she led global business operations for a cross-border eCommerce and tech titan.

Before Alibaba, Julia was at Disney corporate strategy, and she built the global financial model for Disney+, the subscription video streaming service launched in 2019, working directly with the segment CFO. She started her career with McKinsey, one of the top management consulting firms.

When she was a student at Brown University, she founded the ethical knitwear accessory brand Tink Knit, a nonprofit financially empowering single mothers through knitting. She has received the McKinsey & Walmart’s Women Impact Award, and also spoke at many events and conferences including TEDx and Female Founder Day (by Female Founder Collective).
