Coconut Whisk launched on retail shelves in the Spring of 2018, since then we've grown into a forward-thinking and inclusive brand that has become a staple in pantries across the nation.
Now, we're so excited to bring together the community and open our FIRST brick & mortar home! It'll be a café and retail shop in Downtown Minneapolis opening in the Summer of 2021. Opening during COVID-19 will be a huge undertaking and risk but we're up for the challenge. Coconut Whisk Café is dedicated to helping create a more inclusive, safe, and vibrant downtown.
What will be in this space?
- Reimagined Pancakes & Waffles by Coconut Whisk
- Handcrafted drinks
- Retail space that features Vegan, Gluten-free, BIPOC & Womxn owned brands
We're most thrilled about the non-profit partners that we'll support through our new space-- from empowering youth to filling the food gaps in school, we're on a mission to make the world a better place... one plant-based meal at a time.
We found a new home and we need your help! (why we're fundraising)
We started as an eCommerce and retail business with our award-winning baking mixes. This will be our first brick and mortar business so we thought it'd be fun to raise additional money by creating a crowdfunding campaign with limited-edition rewards.
This is a brand new division of our company, so we're starting from scratch.. no pun intended. Any additional funds will help us finish our mini-renovation and build-out (kitchen equipment, inventory, furniture, staff, community artists, and more).
What's in it for you?
We created limited-edition rewards for you that are exclusive to this iFundWomen Campaign. And remember, you can always grab more than one reward :')
Founders
"While in college, Myles and I went vegan because we saw how positively impactful it was for our health, environment, animals, and planet. After finding out that there weren't any baking mixes on the market that fit our dietary choices, we were on a mission to find a solution. We never wanted anyone else to feel the same frustration and disappointment that we did. What started as an idea led to the creation of Coconut Whisk. As an immigrant, a first-generation college student, and a proud Asian-American... leading Coconut Whisk has been my life's greatest and most humbling adventure. Through our work, I want to inspire others to lead with heart, take action and be fearless in the pursuit of their dreams. "
