Project Description
The Co-Lab is a brand new co-working and event space opening on June 15, 2020 in the Proctor District of Tacoma, WA. We offer on-site childcare and an adult-only work space inclusive to all parents. Watch for birthday party packages, workshops, and parent’s night out!
We are empowering working parents to carve their own path by creating a healthy, flexible balance in work and family life for themselves and their children.

The Campaign FAQs
Do you have to be a member of The Co-Lab to use the drop-in childcare?
Everyone is welcome!
Non-members pay $20 per hour for the first child and $10 per hour for each additional child.
Members of The Co-Lab (Community, Office, or The Co-Lab Works Members) pay $10 per hour for each child.
How old are the kids who go to The Co-Lab?
Children 3+ who are toilet trained are welcome in our drop-in childcare program. Programming is designed for kids 3 - 8 years old.
Younger children can play with their parents in our toddler space. We will offer parent/child programs for younger kids, like art, sensory classes, and music!
Do parents have to stay on-site?
When your kids are in our drop-in program, parents can work on-site or leave.
What if my child is 9+?
Older siblings are always welcome as part of our Junior Leader program. Prices for Junior Leader drop-in care is $10 with a sibling. Includes special training and rewards for being a community helper!
Watch for our babysitter training and certification program.

The Co-Lab will be open for drop-in care Monday - Friday, 7 am - 7 pm.
Become an Office Member at The Co-Lab and you can drop your child off downstairs and work in the adults-only co-working office upstairs!
