We are proud and excited to share about our full transition to 100% upcycled leather in all of our accessories. We are proud to announce the soon coming launch of our new accessories brand called Además. Además means “What’s more” or “Further” in Spanish and that is what this accessories brand is going to be about. Crafted from 100% upcycled leather from a variety of consistent sources (including reclaimed sports equipment leather offcuts), Además is a reflection of what Brave Soles wants to create with our customers and fans in the days and years ahead - a story of true circularity and kindness to people and planet. 
This takes money and resources - and that’s why we are here right now. 

We are asking for your support through the purchase of discounted gift cards for the duration of our pre-launch. These gift cards never expire and can be used by you or anyone you want to give them to. They can be in one, or multiple denominations. AND, for certain levels of support we are also offering personalized discount codes that will be good for you to use from now until the end of 2022 ***Including for the launch of our new products coming in 2022.

The Problem We Are Solving

Discarded tires and other usable materials fill landfills, ditches and waterways around the world. They are bio-hazardous and pose significant health risks - especially to the world's most vulnerable communities. Yet materials such as tires, dead stock fabrics and reclaimed leathers ALSO present endless opportunities for circular fashion designs.

Through a simple and scalable process, Brave Soles is creating fashion that is kind to both people and planet - and built on a circular economy. We give our customers the opportunity to reclaim their connection to what they wear and to see the impact of their purchase up front and in relatable United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. 

To date, we have reclaimed over 2,525 truck sized tires out of ditches, waterways, and landfills and have helped to generate revenue with five small teams of artisans.

We are seeking funding to help us grow out our logistics in a more efficient and scalable way that works with our greater vision of creating even more intentional purchasing and customization for our customers.

In turn, this will create smoother processes for us to work more closely with our artisans, employ new team members, and involve our customers more in the process and participation of ethical fashion that is accessible for the average consumer.
