What is the production cost?
$70,000 is an estimated budget to cover the cost of the productions and construction. We are approaching local and commercial brands for sponsorship support.
How long will it take to complete the pilot?
Pre-production will take about two months, and that’s to secure permits and contracts. The production stage takes about two weeks or less to film. We will coordinate with the contractor and film different stages of the transformation. Post-production will take about seven weeks or less to complete.
Where will this be aired?
All episode will be viewed on the Bodega Makeover website using the YouTube platform.
Who’s your target audience?
24yrs-45yrs. Millennial will be the dominated viewer. This show will attract Millennials because they are very environmentally conscious and resonate with childhood memories of shopping in bodegas.
How will the show work with bodegas that operate a predominately cash-based business?
Bodega Makeover will travel throughout the U.S. in search of bodegas and communities in need. We will use financial figures based on their financial reports and tax documentation. We will ensure that the bodega owners we work with are complying with federal, state, and local obligations to avoid any potentially embarrassing situations.
Will healthy foods cost more? In a low income community, is that viable?
We are actively securing business deals with local farmers and the state healthy food initiatives in exchange for media exposure or other benefits. We could also try to secure a government subsidy.
