Hey! We're a Black Girl Candle Start-Up looking for help to fundraise with essentials such as:

• branding, web, social media design
• candle design, candle box design
• register as an llc/partnership in texas
• social media manager
• marketing photoshoots
• brand strategy
• inventory

Key tenants of the brand:

- warm vibes, clean aesthetic, sophisticated yet fun

- good time with friends and family

- like-minded women, millennials & gen z, ages 16-35

- Inspiration - Jackie Aina “forvr mood” - same kind of brand aesthetic similarity

- when you have a candle, it lights up the environment literally physically, ambiance. 

- want everyone to feel the comfort that a candle brings

    All my life, I knew I wanted to be the boss! I have always been business savvy, literally watched my parent build their own successful businesses from the ground up, and majored in Marketing, in business school (undergrad). I wanted to do something I knew I would actually enjoy, a passion project, that I would be able to not only pour myself into but my heart into as well. Candles have always been a beacon/symbol of hope to me, literally igniting a fire in me to keep going, providing comfort, and a sense of calm to whatever environment they were in. One of my earliest memories with them was when during Hurricane Ike in 2008 all the lights in my home went out and we had to use them to light the house for a couple of weeks. In the midst of all the darkness, they lit the way. One night I even remember my family getting together in our formal living room, with the storm raging outside, bonding under the presence of the candles. It was beautiful. My aunt's home was such a vibe compared to mine growing up would also be filled with them, and at night whenever we had sleepovers at my cousins, I would go downstairs and be in awe of the candles she placed everywhere, even on the floor in the visitor's restroom. My house was a bit more drama-filled, so to watch the ambiance it created in her home was truly magical.  I would remember just staring at them, choosing to exist in the space and allow the beauty of the flame to embrace me - I loved it. Plus I'm a fire sun (Leo) and rising (Sagittarius) so maybe that's why too!

I want to do a marketing campaign shoot for the website's products with Soona, a beautiful virtual product picture website, and work with Pietra, a lovely product creation website (logistics, dropshipping, distributors/distribution). I would love to have a fun and interactive social media page, and possibly do a giveaway to help generate buzz. Stories interaction, takeovers, influencer program, brand collaborations. A full-on marketing campaign and shoot to follow every collection, storytelling emphasized, with all collections to have meaning. I want to focus on holistic wellness and fulfillment of body, mind, and spirit.
