Introduction: Petra’s Beauty Club (PBC) is more than a salon; it’s a sanctuary. As a Black-owned, Black-centered, protective style salon, our mission has always been to provide an inclusive, uplifting space for Black beauty, wellness, and empowerment. The devastating LA wildfires have deeply impacted our community and business, but we can recover, sustain, and continue growing with your support.

Petra’s journey has been one of resilience. Just two years ago, her first salon was tragically destroyed by fire, yet she rebuilt it from the ground up, creating the space we now know as Petra’s Beauty Club in Koreatown. This salon became a haven for the Black community, inclusive of women, queer people, men, and so many more.

Her commitment doesn’t stop there. Last week, Petra led a

 donation drive for directly impacted people who lost their homes and belongings to the wildfires. She focused on providing makeup, skincare, haircare, toiletries, and clothing items, ensuring women could still feel beautiful and cared for during such a devastating time. It’s this unwavering commitment to uplifting others that underscores the mission and intention of Petra’s Beauty Club.
