The Urban Wild is a New York City-based nonprofit organization dedicated to making sustainable agricultural technology more accessible to areas affected by food insecurity. Samia and her team believe they can educate, empower, and uplift vulnerable communities out of food-insecure states through the use of localized sustainable agriculture.

Isis Asare

Sistah Scifi is the first Black-owned bookstore focused on science fiction and fantasy in the United States validated by the American Booksellers Association. Isis’s vision is to double the number of science fiction and fantasy titles by Black and Indigenous authors on the New York Times Best Sellers list by launching a national network of book vending machines—making the discovery of Afrofuturism and Indigenous Futurism books as easy as buying a candy bar.

Be Well, Sis is a wellness eco-system that empowers Black women with resources for healing mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually, created out of the founder's own need for inviting wellness spaces that spoke to her experiences as a Black woman in America.

NetWerk is an inclusive community and platformon a mission to to help 1 million women get promoted by 2030. Jen and her team fight for representation in leadership by creating equal access to programs and resources that help women overcome being underpaid and underemployed.

My Comma makes this easy through an organic period subscription box and discovery platform helping menstruators create their period care routine.

Flatform Studios is trailblazing the future of creative education by empowering creators, across disciplines, to use their abilities and gifts to design a better future through culturally relevant training in theory, sketching, and techniques. By providing a resource for foundational learning, Flatform Studios will help develop a generation of confident creators who create inspiring, intentional, and impactful work.

Tour Genius is an educational productivity and note-taking app created to assist college-bound students and families on college visit. The app was created to remove the real barriers that first generation, low-income, and students of color face during the college selection and enrollment process.

Freedom Fleur is a for-profit social enterprise that strives to resource visionary women. Kristie and her team provide access to ethical and sustainable clothing for women who are on a mission to change their lives, their community, and the world around them for good.
