Supporting women entrepreneurs has always been our #1 priority, and the strength of our collective community is what is going to get us through during this unprecedented time.

From grants to free coaching to daily encouragement on our Slack network, we are working overtime to help women-led small businesses weather the storm.

Grant Recipients

The IFW COVID-19 Relief Fund provides microgrants to women-owned businesses that are being impacted by this crisis. You can donate to the Relief Fund now or start a campaign on IFW to be considered to receive a grant! Grants are distributed on a rolling basis.  Meet our COVID-19 Relief grant recipients below!

eleMINT is a modern facial studio that creates a destination for beauty and wellness to coexist. They are raising money on IFW to renovate their new space and hire staff.

Taylor Jay

Inspired by her Kotton Collection and after being forced to close the doors to her flagship location, Taylor Jay has pivoted with purpose, gone into design mode, and is now producing Taylor Jay Face Covers with a “give a mask, get a mask” model.

Kristen Carbone

Brilliantly supports women who’ve confronted breast cancer to embrace their life through innovative products, relevant services, and thoughtful content. During this global health tragedy, they are bringing small moments of joy and connectivity to their community through a variety of virtual experiences.

FoodtoEat partners with immigrant, women, and minority-owned restaurants in NYC, and books catering jobs for them at corporate offices like Warby Parker, The Skimm, and Microsoft.

Café Mamajuana is a Latinx Restaurant and Bodega connecting the people of Burlington, VT with Dominican, Afro-Caribbean and Spanish culture by using food as a vessel of tradition & nostalgia.

Page 1 Books is literary matchmaking at it’s best, providing personalized book subscriptions based on your reading taste. Founder, Brandy O’Briant, reopened her crowdfunding campaign on IFW to fund her daily operations, rent, and subscription fulfillment after having to close her doors.

The Co-Lab is a brand new co-working and event space opening on June 15, 2020 in the Proctor District of Tacoma, WA.  We offer on-site childcare and an adult-only work space inclusive to all parents. Watch for birthday party packages, workshops, and parent’s night out!

Divine Planet Studio creates functional arts and crafts, offer multicultural and nature-related goods, and offers art and jewelry classes.

Rafi Nova is a brand of vegan ethically-sourced backpacks and accessories that support ethnic female artisans. Rafi Nova’s IFW campaign is dedicated to providing 10,000 masks to hero healthcare and essential workers across the USA.
 

Dr. L. Nneka Mobisson

At mDoc, we support pregnant women and people with chronic health needs with virtual care. mDoc is setting up COVID delivery kits for pregnant moms, which come equipped with two personal protective equipment sets containing masks and gloves for a doctor and a nurse as well as hand sanitizer, three masks for the mother (for each day in the hospital) and blanket for the baby.
